You win. Not sure who was arguing that around here, but you win.
Yeah, nobody was arguing that Jones was facing TD regression

Tell the GB brass to be more inclusive of their RB. If only Dillon was drafted to a team with more of a RBBC approach. Like Philly.

Why draft him in the 2nd if he isn't going to be used in 4th and 1 type situations?

Not many coaches in the league trust any rookie in that situation.

The same answer to “Why draft a QB in the 1st round if you aren’t going to play him?“.

It was pretty clear GB’s draft this year was to set the franchise up for transition into the future and not for immediate impact. Just like they were looking a Rodgers and an allegedly growing rift between he and the team, GB management also had an eye on their RBs’ contract situations.

What it comes down to is that in GB you have to earn your way onto the field. Draft capital doesn’t buy you snaps. That’s been clear for a while in the way they have dealt with players. Simply put, Dillon has not done enough to bypass Williams, much less Jones, and earn meaningful work. In a tight offensive road duel that could have serious playoff implications rather than the previous blowouts, it was a matter of keeping the best players on the field.

A lot of teams do dumb things in the draft. Selecting an RB in the 2nd round and not playing him immediately ranks up there. Detroit is doing the same thing with Swift.

The good news is that if you love Dillon's talent, you can still buy him affordably.

The bad news is that Aaron Jones has become a near-elite RB and the Packers don't want to take him off the field anymore. And given the recent trend of RB extensions, they will probably pay him.

Yea, and he looked excellent out there last night. Just made me giddy for my RB depth going into next year!

After watching Dillon's cut-up from last night I think GB would be smart to let Jones walk, or do some FT/sign then trade agreement with another team, resign Williams (who has looked solid this year in his limited role) roll with Williams and Dillon, use the cap space saved and possible pieces acquired to help get Rodgers some more weapons/a better defense. Lots of good WRs in FA this year. And the lord knows that Rodgers could be other worldly with some better receiving options.

Obviously I am biased as an owner, and it's only one game, but to rip off 6 & 7 yard runs at will was a great thing to see from him.
