With Covid problems all over 2020, who are your dark horse players you're betting on?

CEH value just sky rocketed higher than it already was. I personally think all it's going to take is an A-Lister like a JJ Watt or Russell Wilson to opt out and you'll see significant opt outs. In addition, players could become sick during the season.

With that said, who are you looking at that might be a dark horse?

Outside of picking a WR to emerge out of group on a roster or a current free agent (AB or D.Freeman) it’s tough to pick someone. It feels like to choose somebody at any other offensive position, I’d be be guessing at a certain individual to be missing time or opting out.

Maybe this is the year to bet on "your guy" who hasn't gotten an opportunity yet, since it's impossible to predict who will get sick and be forced to miss multiple weeks. Should provide opportunity for players that otherwise wouldn't see the field too often. Maybe talented backup running backs such as Alexander Mattison, AJ Dillon, or Eno Benjamin end up getting a shot at starting that they otherwise wouldn't have and take the starting role for their team heading into 2021 (all three of the players in front of them are in contact years)

I worry about Carson, coming off a broken hip. Hyde could be a guy who might be useable early, with Penny out, and Carson off a hip fracture maybe getting eased in.

I threw a minimum FA bid to acquire Equanimous St. Brown. He flashed a little as a rookie and was out injured all last year. There are a lot of openings for the taking as a WR for Rodgers and while I like Lazard’s lunch pail game I think St. Brown may be able to force Lazard into the slot.

one of mine this year is Jalen Hurd of the 49ers......with how they used Deebo last year and his injury.....I see Hurn filling that roll probably better than Deebo can....big wr who can run out of the backfield as well... he was 1,000 yd rusher in college......they could use him all kind of fun ways....

Any 2018/2019/2020 rookies you were high on coming into the draft. These guys are going to not only get opportunities on the field this year, but also with contracts/cuts next year as teams adjust to a decreased salary cap and IMO an even lower than usual hit rate on 2021 draft picks. My personal list Pollard, Mattison, Armstead, Jakobi Meyers, Boykin, Coutee, and some random KC WR (I'm a Pringle fan). Obviously leaning towards very dark horse with the WRs on the list lol.
