Man, if there was ever a time for an Antonio Brown signing.
Doubt they do this. The team allegedly had Aiyuk ranked with Lamb, meaning they think he's an immediate stud. They'll probably just resign JMatt and pick up a veteran at the trade deadline if Deebo is still hurt.

Oh, I agree. The odds of Brown signing with any team are below 50%. But at least he represents a need for the 49ers and they're good enough for him signing to potentially make a difference.

I think there's a greater chance of signing A Brown over Pettis actually getting another shot. Kendrick Bourne might be the main beneficiary.

I expect this to be a lost year for Deebo. He has a history of injuries, and unfortunately, it appears that will continue.

This is a huge blow to any Niner fan... I was devastated. Then I heard this:

"A source told ESPN's Adam Schefter that Samuel is expected to be OK for Week 1."

I think that's optimistic, but we'll see.

No Deebo, no Sanders. But Aiyuk, Hurd, and Trent will be around, so maybe it won't be so bad.......

Man I'm a mess right now.

That source has some wishful thinking. Any kind of foot fracture is going to linger and cause problems unless it wasn't a displaced fracture. But even then the constant rubbing against the tendon when trying to plant or push off is painful. I don't see it going well for the guy, but fingers crossed.

Edit: or maybe that source was thinking Week 1 2021?

If there was a team that was going to sign AB, this will prob be it. The chances aren't high, but to get that close to winning a SB, then lose your #1WR...it'd be hard not to add a piece like AB and go for it.

The odds of Deebo being ready to play football by 9/13/20 might be better than the odds of the NFL being ready to have games by 9/13/20.

Yep. NFL should consider pushing the season back and having dome stadium cities and some fair weather cities as hubs. Just my take. I think once players get to camp this thing will spread pretty quickly. The USA is not in a great spot with COVID right now, compared to other countries, like mine.

As for Deebo, I think there is little chance he is ready week 1.

I'd rather just run the ball more.

I didn't get the love for Deebo the fantasy player. A really good football player, but fantasy wise this is an offense that doesn't overly rely on any one person except for Kittle at tight end.

I agree. He's a solid player but I dont think he had a very high ceiling for this reason.
