Well here we go. Might as well start this now.

Eagles lost their pro bowl guard to a torn achilles. Bad news for Sanders, Wentz etc.

Players who miss two weeks because of coronavirus.

This season could really, really get ugly.

Some symptoms can last as long as 6 weeks, and lungs can be irrevocably damaged.

Frankly, if you're a Zeke owner you're probably happy he's already had his bout of it.

Hasn't been proven you can't get it again. Plus there's (currently) 2 strains of it running around with potential to mutate yet again. This isn't chicken pox and you're done with it.

At least I can still bet on the Korean Baseball League, Aussie soccer, and the presidential election.

That's what concerns me the most. The NFL isn't going to be running in a bubble and there's a 2nd wave of COVID-19 expected later this year.

It feels like a lot can go wrong this year.

Yep. I am already wishing I hadn't given up depth for CMC in a league. In a typical year, I'd be OK with it, but I fear this year could be an anomaly. I'm still not convinced the NFL isn't setting themselves up for disaster, they seem to be overly confident bordering on arrogance the way they are planning the season.

Waiver wire guys will probably be more valuable than ever. I worry that a team will get hit so hard they are basically playing their entire practice squad on game days. The competitive balance of the year could be compromised, I think.

This is my worry also. I have done 3 startups, mainly because I have had so much free time. 2 of them ended up as dream team scenarios for me from a startup prospective. I think that even if my teams end up as good as I think they are, it isn't going to matter a whole lot this year.

Kelvin Harmon, torn ACL. I think this may be a career killer. With Washington's wr depthchart wide open behind McLaurin he could have shown he was worth more than the 6th rounder Washington spent on him in 2020.

I have the feeling this is going to be the first of many ACLs torn as football players ramp up after some unexpected downtime.

This is a bummer. I didn’t like him at all as a prospect but ended up with two shares because he was just sitting there in the late 4th.

Likely so.

I scooped Logan Thomas for free in a deep league. He ought to win the starting TE job and is athletic. The Turner's use the TE's and intermediate/middle routes enough that he could end up a top 15 TE. If so, he'd be flippable.

Jalen Hurd feared to have torn his ACL.

AJG tweaked his hammy.

Josh Oliver broken foot.
