Yeah, that's not good for a guy who's on a new team, working with a new QB. I have a feeling injuries are going to be prevalent due to the circumstances surrounding the season.

Sadly, as every year practices = injuries. The difference this year is that players have had less on-field preparation leading up to this point, and I fear that we may see more of these types of issues than in a typical season.

Hopefully not, but man there's been a lot of guys go down already.

Every single year there's some change or challenge to the offseason/preseason and it always comes with people at this time of year predicting there will be more injuries than normal because of it, and then the injury rates stay basically the same. These are professional athletes who know how to take care of their bodies (or should and will end up injured anyway if they don't) and trained athletic staffs who know how to prepare athletes bodies and how to get them ready for the season without overwhelming them. The same thing will happen this year, and in large part it will have nothing to do with Covid, it will just be because football is a dangerous game that leads to the potential for injuries as it does every year.

This off season is drastically different to almost any other year. We really don't know how it will pan out. Perhaps the injuries will be less, but we really can't say yet, it's too soon.

Its going to be interesting to see how an entire league performs without any game simulation. Could be a number of things from rust, injuries, new players not having a feel for playcalls and audibles.

Mack Wilson (the LB that hit him) was carted off yesterday with a hyperextended knee, and may end up needing season ending surgery, he's expected to miss at least a couple of months.

Nah, dont like that tackle at all... its your own teammate in your team's first padded practice. No need to tackle a guy by flailing your 250 lbs body from his head and neck, just let him get by.

Probably right, I just meant it wasn't a helmet to helmet, or something malicious in intent to injure, it's more of a negligent tackle.
