I think a better question is, "Is he top three?" or, "How close is he to CMC and Barkley in that truly top tier?"FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Thu Oct 24, 2019 9:57 pm He's elite. He's top 5 and that shouldn't be in question, really.

I traded Barkley for Cooks, Cook and a 1st. That 1st I flipped for LeVeon with some randoms and Cooks I just flipped with all my 2021st for JuJu. Never been happier to trade Barkley.

Beautiful bump. Was nice going back through and reading some of the earlier replies.
Metrics should only be used to answer a question that's nagging at you from watching film you have a potential concern about. Cook never, ever looked non agile in his film.

Re: Dalvin Cook is a SPARQ turd. Should you be worried?
Beautiful bump here. Very entertaining to read the strong opinions on metrics. Over emphasizing analytics can be a problem. Dalvin, as it stands, is having a fantastic season. For those of you that basically just look at box scores, I urge you to watch his film. He is playing like an elite rb in every facet of his game. Running between the tackles and outside runs he has short area quickness and power. He is incredibly elusive in space and has great long speed. Receiving is excellent. His blocking is proficient. If he stays healthy, He has a shot at being the leading rusher in the NFL. It cracks me up every time we see posters digging their heals in on combine numbers and SPARQ scores WAY too early in someones career... There are simply far too many other variables that contribute to a player.

I really enjoy watching Cook. Wished I owned him in my league. Should have bought when I had the chance.
Re: Dalvin Cook is a SPARQ turd. Should you be worried?
I have to say I have been very impressed by Dalvin Cook this season - and hopefully he has improved his conditioning enough to avoid those injuries that have crept up previously. Going to be interesting to see what guys like him are going to be worth compared to the 2020 RBs.
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..
Re: Dalvin Cook is a SPARQ turd. Should you be worried?
Dalvin says he feels better today than he did at the start of the season. I think he has changed his conditioning regimen. He hasn't had any durability issues so far.ArrylT wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2019 9:47 am I have to say I have been very impressed by Dalvin Cook this season - and hopefully he has improved his conditioning enough to avoid those injuries that have crept up previously. Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.

Is there a realistic chance he holds out into the year?

Dalvin Cook Holdout Watch
Cook announced he’s not participating in team activities until he gets a reasonable extension.
Might be a good time to sell Mattison.

We saw it happen with MG3 so I think it’s a real possibility.

Hard to see him getting big money from the Vikings with his injury history

Re: Dalvin Cook holding out
This is not a big deal. It's to be expected. He can't become a FA if he doesn't report to camp under the new CBA, so making this claim now is necessary. The MG/Bell road would be a road doesn't make any sense under the new CBA. The fact they want at least DJ money is reasonable. He will be the focal point of the offense for the 2nd straight year. Doing this is the only way RB's can gain any financial leverage within their rookie deal. It will be Chubb next year, and probably Barkley too. I expect the Vikings to sign him, they already expressed mutual desire to get a deal done early this off season. I fully expect Cook to be in the line up week 1. This statement was fully expected with no extension yet.

Barkley will get his money well before a hold out.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2020 3:38 pm This is not a big deal. It's to be expected. The Giants used the number 2 pick on him. They have to pay him

Re: Dalvin Cook holding out
Probably. My point is, any top end RB after year 3 will be doing this if they don't have a deal in place by the start of the summer. Mixon was rumoured to have made that claim to the Bengals, though he hasn't gone public, to my knowledge.StripesOfKC wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2020 3:39 pmBarkley will get his money well before a hold out.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2020 3:38 pm This is not a big deal.
