Scott was highly effective in 2019. He was productive as both a runner (54.5 points) + receiver (44.4) (PPR)

If you look at fantasy points per touch rankings, Scott avg as the #7 overall RB in 2019 with 1.14 fantasy points per touch in PPR

J Howard and his 119 rushing attempts and 10 receptions are gone for 2020

If we give half of those touches to Scott we could estimate he would have scored an additional 73.53 points in 2019 based off his points per touch for a total of 169.53 placing him 25th overall for all running backs in 2019.

Do I expect Scott to continue to score at a fantasy point per touch of 1.14 in 2020? Its unlikely.

However I do think Scott provides excellent value as someone being drafted as the 56th RB and 171 player overall in dynasty.

I'm well aware that the Eagles have been linked to some free agent RB's. But if they don't? That's easy money.

Please buy Boston Scott!

Well have to see, I’m on the camp that Dillon will be great for a few seasons. And if rumor of the NFL wants to cut Cap, GB may not resign AJ next season and will leave Dillon as the guy in GB. To me Scott is no more than a throw in guy, so if I can buy a guy like Dillon for a second and a throw in, I’ll take that all day.

Might want to pump the brakes on that cap situation theory. Even during the 2008 recession, the biggest drop was between 2009 and 2011, where it dropped a big $3M dollars per team. If they have to play a partial season or without fans, you might see a weird one or two year window, but I doubt it extends much beyond that and I also suspect they do something other than just lowering the cap to compensate the shortfall like a temporary global salary reduction.

They are doing something, Godell already asked workers to take pay cuts, he himself is taking a zero salary. I don’t recall them doing that in 2008.

What I mean is they will likely ask players under contract to take a flat cut similar to what you’re seeing in baseball if fans are not permitted at games. The alternative of a massive slash to the cap and basically making it impossible for FAs to sign is not something the NFLPA would like any more than the league.

it is if he wants him on his team. scott is worthless so he gets dillon as the probable starting rb next season instead of some 2nd round rookie.

I'd disagree with both statements, but to each their own.

As I said if Dillon is his guy fine, but he's also some 2nd round rookie. That was my point value-wise.

he is right now. but next year come draft time he won't be, he'll be the probable starting rb for the packers. that's the projection we're making.

Eagles All-Pro LG Brandon Brooks tore his Achilles and will miss the entire year. Massive blow to all the Philly RBs and offense overall.

Seems like worse news for Sanders. If it leads to more passing, it's a positive for Scott. When Sanders was healthy, he had more targets than carries anyway.
