Tylan Wallace. Absolutely dominant collegiate player with incredible body control/ball-skills. Interested to see how he tests after his injury, but he's damn good. Should have all the advanced stats and will most likely be a 2nd-3rd round pick. Kind of reminds me of DJ Moore

Copy. Seems like a pretty stacked team. I’d go into it with a real open mind. Ya know, something something landing spots, something something best player available. That being said, here in January, my top 6 is looking like Lawrence Fields Harris Etienne Chase Pitts

Kyle Pitts. I passed on Jefferson early last year because I thought I could get him later.... I won't make the same mistake with Pitts. Fully plan on making him the 4th overall pick in my main league. You don't let talent like that slip down the board and I don't really see who would rival him at #4. I have far more questions about Etienne, Waddle, and the field after the top 3. Kyle Pitts checks every box and looks like the best TE prospect we've ever seen.

I think Trey Lance will be another guy I'm high on if the hype continues to dwindle. He's a complete dart throw as a passer but at 2nd/3rd round value, you are potentially returning a player with Lamar Jackson level upside. I like that as a trade asset rather than deciding which coin flip WR to take a swing at.

Would you go Pitts or Bateman?

I get all the "TE isn't worth it in the 1st round" takes and agree with that line of thinking in general, but Pitts really does feel like a guy who will be an exception to the rule. I'm going to probably be taking him fairly high in a lot of leagues and can live with it if he doesn't pan out, but I would always be kicking myself if I couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on him and then he does end up going on to be a truly elite fantasy TE.

I tend to agree, most if not all of the TE's you listed went in the 1st of rookie drafts. And every single one of them you could have gotten for cheaper than that after their first year. Hockenson and Fant are just starting to come into their own. Pitts expectations are so high right now, unless he goes off in his rookie year you'll probably be able to get him for a lot cheaper than you can in this rookie draft

OJ Howard was considered a can't-miss TE for years and was more well-rounded than Pitts. Arguably the best blocking TE in the country in his collegiate career.

I love Pitts game too, but we've heard the "maybe this TE is worth a high rookie pick" argument plenty of times before. It's not that I think Pitts is going to stink; it's that I think you can get him for less than that initial price because people do not have patience with TEs.

Everyone wants the next Gronk, Kelce, Kittle, or whoever, but nobody wants to wait longer than a year or two for it.

Blocking doesn't produce fantasy points, like I said in my opinion Pitts is pretty easily the best FANTASY TE prospect we have ever seen, which is why I will be targeting him fairly high in my FANTASY drafts. Yes maybe I can get him later when the rookie fever wears off, or maybe I can't, so I'll take him when I have the opportunity to do so and bet on the enormous upside which is what I target in all rookie drafts.

Ok, let's call Pitts worth pre-draft, a mid 2021 1st. What type of discount do you expect to be able to buy him for and when? After year 1, year 2? Do you expect to to be able to get him for less than a 1st?

Alternatively, he could look like a stud early on and be untouchable.

Fant is hindered by his QB. Just wait until Denver gets a real QB, that offense will be good
