Names we aren't talking about

Plenty of threads about obvious first round choices and which one is the best. I am tired of that.

Lets talk about who you are taking in the later rounds that you could see paying off big time!

a few i have been after:

gabriel davis, big body 5th round WR for buffalo, they need weapons to step up for josh allen and took Davis and another Wr in the 6th named Isaiah Hodgins who is also a big body large catch radius type. looking like they want a redzone weapon to emerge in buffalo

collin johnson, a popular devy name not long ago went to the Jags in the 5th round. I see it as pretty wide open in Jaxonville for targets behind Chark.

DeeJay Dallas , rb seattle. I didnt know chris carson and i dont know this guy so im gonna trust the coaches of the most run heavy team in recent years and take a shot on this dude late anywhere i can. carson and penny health issues could open a window for this unknown rookie.

Albert O - reuinited with his college qb this could be a match made in heaven and an absolute steal late in drafts.

Thad Moss - hes been undrafted in all my drafts so far but who is the TE in washington? ill take him for free and hope he can click with haskins and be a security blanket early in his career, who knows?

Josh Kelley - can easily envision him having a great run game role in tandum with ekeler.

James Morgan - I just kinda think darnold sucks so why not .

I don't know if he will amount to anything or not, but I'm looking at James Robinson from Illinois State. He landed with the Jags after going undrafted. Good measurable's and college stats. His NFL combine page says he's the all time rushing leader in Illinois High School (9,045 yards). Turned down an offer from Iowa to stay closer to home.

5'9" 219; 4.64 40; 24 bench reps; 40" vert; 7.03 3-cone.

797 carries for 4,444/44 rush yards/TDs; 58 catches for 428/2 rec. yards/TDs; 12 total fumbles (8 lost); Was also used as a return guy a few times, so that may be his key to getting on the field.

For a year or two, until the Broncos move on. He doesn't look like a very good TE prospect. With Fant there, Sutton, Jeudy, Hamler, Gordon etc. I think he's going to be in Fantasy oblivion.

I appreciate the names. I don't have many late round picks, but I'll watch the waivers.

One point i disagree with is Darnold sucking. He's got a ton of upside, just has a garbage situation. He will be around a while.

I just wish he showed more personality. It seems so monotone.

Tyler Johnson in TB. I’m still big on the Scotty Miller bandwagon and some people might still like Watson, but this kid has some skills and lines up nice analytically.

Donovan Peoples-Jones in Cleveland. Big time recruit that never seemed to really put it together in college due to injuries and perhaps QB play.

Darnell Mooney in Chicago. Another guy who ticks all the boxes analytically and seems like opportunity could open up there.

If Darnold sucks, that team is in a position to draft his replacement. Morgan needs a Minshew type situation where Darnold gets injured early and he shines while making the team too good to earn a top 5 pick.

Darrynton Evans has 4.41 jets, is behind only a starter on the franchise tag, and the team has a strong line (although losing Conklin hurts.) He’s available in the 3rd round right now. Seems like a huge bargain.

This is what I came here to say. He was a 5-star recruit out of high school who under-performed in college due to who knows how many variables. He's a 4th rounder in nearly every draft.

Haven't seen much talk about Duvernay. Lamar loves to throw up the seam and over the middle. I could see Duvernay developing into our most consistent WR. I know that's not worth as much in Baltimore but I still think it's good value in the 3rd.

RB - Kelley, Darrynton, Dallas
WR - Duvernay, Tyler Johnson, Cephus
TE - Trautman, Asiasi

I got crushed by my league mates for trading three seconds to move to get Swift (to go with Dobbins at my 1st round pick). Y'all are making me feel better about getting Edwards (3rd round), Duvernay (4th), and DPJ (5th) with my remaining picks..

What? I can only imagine they are looking at the depth of the draft class, but relative to the outcome of previous drafts, that's a bargain. Swift is regarded by many to be the best/safest pick at RB, though his landing spot isn't great.

Nah man, you win that trade. Wait, 10 team in sig?

Either way, it's a fair deal or you win. There's no way you lost.

Which seconds? Unless they’re the 2.01, 02, 03 in a 12 team or smaller, I’m not sure I wouldn’t make that move myself if I needed RBs.

Yeah, the 3rd team in the sig. It's an orphan with not much depth or top end talent, but felt like locking up both Dobbins and Swift to go with Kamara left me in a good place from which to move forward. Full trade was Swift + 2nd round next year (likely mid) for 2.01, 2.04, 2.05, 2.06.
