Supposedly Gilmore had dinner with Cam the night before Cam tested positive. BTW, what happened to this? Seems like a good idea.

Because the CDC has said there is minimal protection from aerosol viruses from shields. Tight fitting cloth masks are their recommendation. Shields are primarily worn to protect the eyes, but is not a substitute for a proper mask.

Edit- don't get me wrong, it would be better than what he's doing.

Two more positive Titan cases. That game for sure is not happening. Forfeit and kiss a pick / picks goodbye.

Well that's one way to slow Josh Allen down...

Titans got another positive thursday. I have a feeling that this game may be forfeited, or maybe they make the titans play 2 games in a week (like a Thursday and Monday/Tuesday) whenever the bills have their normal bye week.

Bills have a bye week on week 11.

Week 10 games: Colts @ Titans Thurs ; Bills @ Cardinals Sun 4pm
Week 11 games: Titans @ Ravens Sun 1pm; Bills Bye
Week 12 games: Titans @ Colts Sun 1pm; Chargers @ Bills 1pm

Solution: Move Titans-Bills to week 11 Tuesday Night & Move Titans @ Ravens (Sunday 1pm) week 11 to Saturday night (evening before)

Pats no new positives on Thursday

I'm reading 2 more for the Titans. Forfeit coming, IMO.

At this rate they'll have to forfeit the next week vs Houston as well

Took me a while to edit my post. If the NFL really doesn't want a forfeit, I think they could push back the game to week 11. though it would be a bunch of moving pieces.

The Week 5 game between the Bills and Titans could be moved to Monday or Tuesday.
Players for both teams were reportedly told delaying the Week 5 game was one option under consideration as the Titans deal with their COVID-19 outbreak. This option would no longer be viable if the Titans continue to report new COVID cases throughout the week. Moving the game to Monday or Tuesday would bump the Week 6 Thursday night Bills-Chiefs game to Saturday, October 17.

Well then, if they are willing to move Thursdays and Fridays I like my option more using week 11 assuming the Titans continue to suck.

I still don't really understand why it's a forfeit and not just a skipped game. Seems unfair to punish Tennessee because of a pandemic.

nobody is asking for their punishment because of the pandemic. It is the fact that they blatantly broke protocol putting the whole league at risk.

No one is punishing Tennessee. It is the team's responsibility to field a team. If they are unable to do so, the game should be forfeited.

I also don't love the forfeit idea. It punishes not only the players involved, but the the ones who weren't, the fans, the networks carrying those games, and ultimately the other teams in the league who have to play against a bills team that gets an extra week of rest.

I think loss of future picks, fines, loss of pay, etc would be sufficient. I'm saying this as someone who would really benefit from titans/bills having no game this week as I play against Allen in 2 SF leagues.

If the game can't be rescheduled, it needs to have a result. A forfeit is reasonable.

Let's also factor in the flip side, is it fair to Bills players to be asked to play football game against a team that has had 20+ positive cases in the last 7 days? How is the quarantine period different in the NFL? I have no doubt if the game happens this week, even Tuesday, that somebody on the Bills team will contract it. And so on, and so on
