"I'm also now hearing from a source that #Titans were specifically told Sept 29 -- the day the facility closed -- that they were to have no in-person activities of any kind. That's the day before the Sept 30 workouts."

Dock the picks, fine the team, suspend the coaching staff and suspend the players that held practice outside of the facility.

You hate to see it for the fans and the Bills players because they won’t get their game check, but at least they won’t be potentially be in a dangerous situation but I still think a forfeit makes the most sense. The other option that they’re talking about is moving the Bills-Chiefs from next Thursday to the following Saturday night but then once you do that, you are potentially hurting other teams, plus let’s say they do that and there’s no positive tests out of Tennessee for the next few days, then someone tests positive on Tuesday morning(which would be game day in this scenario), then it would be called off anyway, it’s just too risky. They just need to forfeit that game and try to get the Titans straight for week 6.

Somebody mentioned a solution for this earlier (sorry forget who), make the Titans cover all lost revenue as part of their fine.
I am just a guy sharing some thoughts

The NFL had 6 months to prepare for every scenario that could go wrong during the season and chose not to.

I really though built in, league-wide bye weeks would be an easy and obvious solution for them. Too late now

I'd be shocked if players don't receive pay for a cancelled game. Nflpa may be weak, it's not that weak

That's what the rules currently state in the Covid agreement the NFL and NFLPA came to, any game that doesn't take place results in canceled game checks.

Teams would not be obligated to pay. Don't think the teams would do that.

Probably not, but those are the rules in place and agreed to by the NFLPA, so teams/owners could absolutely elect not to pay those checks and be well within their rights to do so.

Sure. And it's a great way to make your players not want to play.

Not arguing whether it's right/wrong, just stating that is what the league and NFLPA agreed to.

I think NFL needs to consider a year+ ban for coaching staff. Significant fines and loss of draft picks.
