I think the Bucs, Eagles and maybe Chargers take a look. Just pure speculation, but he makes a ton of sense to the Bucs.

Would the dolphins make sense to pair with Jordan Howard, since they never drafted one?

I hope so. It would suck for him to fall off that hard

The reality:

- Freeman is 28.
- He hasn't been good in a while.
- Injuries have hit him hard.
- Teams may want their doctors to check him out
- There isn't a market for injured, unproductive, or old RBs (Miller, Ajayi, Hyde, McCoy, etc.)

Look around the league. There really aren't any teams that need an RB. So, they'll be waiting for injuries or camp invites.

Maybe in season or camp if a team gets hit with injuries.

1) we don't know if he has contract demands. If he doesn't want to play for market value, he's not going to get signed

2) with covid19 teams can't easily perform physicals

3) I think it's more likely that he joins on after an injury occurs.

I came here to say most of this, especially the last part. Supply is bigger than demand, so it's going to be tough.

Add Freeman to Coleman, Mostert & McKinnon? They already have $11M invested in RBs.

No starting spots open. He's going to join as depth or part of a committee at this point, sooo...

Bucs? No proven RB, chance for a ring.
Steelers? Conner always misses games. He could pull a DeAngelo Williams
Chargers? Not much PROVEN depth behind Ekeler
Tennessee? Not much behind Henry except an untested rook.
Seattle? Carson and Penny can't be trusted to stay healthy, so he could be great depth here.

Maybe Atlanta is the best fit afterall and he'll resign there. Gurley could go down at any moment, so at least Freeman can give you a few weeks before getting injured himself lol

Seahawks made an offer to him.

One of the most frustrating RB situations in the league for fantasy could be getting even worse.

My understanding is that Seattle offered Freeman $3-mil for one year. They're out for a veteran because it's pretty clear Penny is going to start the year on the PUP. They've also been in touch with Hyde (I believe at the veteran minimum) though the preference is for Freeman.

So far, he's rejected that number, but as everyone has pointed out previously, the market for veteran RB's isn't exactly on fire. So he'd better reassess his value, or he could be left out of this game of musical chairs. Much like Clowney, who isn't getting the money he was hoping for either.

For Carson, Freeman is the type of RB I'm cool with signing. Hyde signing would be a bigger problem for him, imo.
