Which Players Become Buy Low Candidates?

Postby dvpkwys » Fri Apr 24, 2020 7:30 pm

With 2.5 rounds in the books, which current players have taken a hit, but still have value? Furthermore, which players do you think owners will be selling quickly, scared of incoming competition - making them good buy low candidates?
10 Team - NON PPR (5 Round Rookie Draft) - Start 2QB, 2RB, 4WR, 1TE, 1FLEX, 4DB, 4LB/DL/DB

Murray/Brady (Burrow, Taylor)
Cook/Taylor (Edmonds, Mattison, Davis, Mack)
Adams/Godwin/Allen/McLaurin (DJMoore, Boyd, Higgins, Gallup, GDavis, Cephus)
Hockenson (SmithJR, Gesiki)
Budda/Abram/Simmons/Willis
Warner/Cunningham/Bosa/Jaylon Smith (Kendricks)

Agree on Mack and Gallup. Not so much kerryon. I think Swift is vastly more talented and the odds he’s relevant there are slim going forward

I’d add Ingram to this list for competitors needing a one year RB2

Also depending on league, gonna see things like Sutton dropping, but can’t say he’s a ‘buy low’ in general. Very league defendant for this imo.

As an owner I’m holding because I doubt anyone pays more than a late 2 at this point

Honestly I don’t even know who would pay that. They didn’t trade up and draft Taylor to bake cookies. He’s going to eat.

Not a chance he's a first. 2nd at most right now.

Couldn't they let him bake cookies, and then eat them, if he's going to eat? Seems like a win/win.

I think Jordan Howard can still be a decent add, at a low cost. I know the Dolphins may add a RB via trade but at this point, it looks like Howard’s value is on the rise.

Well I was going to hold Mack but I packaged him with a 2031 3rd for a early to mid 2021 1st

Nice move. Can't believe you can trade picks 11 years out.

Maybe it's my NE fandom coming out but...

Michel and Harris.

Pats went and traded up for two TEs. I'm not expecting both to be able to start day 1, but it addresses a position of need and BB loved running 2 TE sets. I can see them using their defense to keep the scoring low, and just pounding the ball with Michel and Harris.

Will it be big number? Probably not, but I think you can get Michel for a 2021 2nd and who knows about Harris. I'd rather take my shot on Michel than Mack.
