Even late 1sts in SF... I have 1.09 and I'm thinking Burrow and Tua are 1/2... Then say JT, Swift, Dobbins and CEH get taken before me and I'll be looking at one of Jeudy/Lamb/Ruggs being there. That still leaves Herbert, Akers, Reagor, Jefferson as well...

I can’t deny what I just saw. I still like Swift so much but how is he going to score more than CEH. It’s the highest Andy Reid has ever taken a RB and it’s by a wide margin.

He is certainly leader in the clubhouse for me, but I might be swayed if Swift goes to the Ravens. Either way, I am thrilled as a 1.3 owner.

The first rb off the board to the most explosive team in the NFL to a coach who turns every single rb who starts for him into an rb1 and you insist he isn't in the conversation for 1.01. I'm just curious what situation and talent you are looking for

As a Chiefs fan I'm not sure how I feel about it since the Andy Reid system is able to use almost anyone with some basic low level talent(see Spencer Ware and Damien Williams) so I kind of feel like it's a reach, but if they are on board with CEH, so am I. If you are still resistant to the idea, you are simply stubborn and don't want to admit you are wrong. Andy Reid RBs are pure gold, and he picked this one when he had the choice of every rb this year. CEH is not only high ceiling he is high floor as well. The most likely of the bunch to put up 16-18+ ppg in ppr leagues for the next 4 years. Book it!
TEAM 1 - 12 man SF. ppr, TEP 1.65 ppr

11 starters - QB, RB(2) WR(3) TE, SF, Flex(3)

Stroud, Kyler, Bryce Young, Anthony Richardson, Minshew, Trey Lance, Dalton l, Mike White

Breece, Achane, AJ Dillon, Justice Hill, Evan Hull, Chris Rodgriquez

Chase, Lamb, Waddle, Olave, London Drake, Demario Davis, Jake Bobo

Kyle Pitts, Mark Andrews, Kincaid, Schoonmaker

24 picks - 1x2, 3,4,5

Team 2-
12 man SF, .25ppc, .5ppr rbs, 1 ppr wr, 1.5 ppr TE

Joe Burrow, Trevor Lawerence, Jake Haehner, Jake Browning

JT, Kendre Miller,, K Ingram, Ty Chandler, Michael Carter, Kenny Macintosh, Sean Tucker

Puka, Rondale, Mooney, Wan’dale, Terrace Marshall, DPJ, Justyn Ross, Xavier Hutchinson,

Kyle Pitts, Luke Musgrave, Juwan Johnson, Darnell Washington, Jelani Woods, Elijah Higgins

24 - 1st x 3, 2nd x 2, 4th x 3 ,5

Westbrook
Shady
J Charles
Hunt
And now CEH

He’s my 1.01 regardless of other landing spots. Andy turned Spencer Ware and Charcandrick West into weekly RB1s. He may or may not ultimately be the best in the class but feels like a really strong choice at 1.01

I found this too:

Agreed I posted a huge list before of Reid’s workhorse backs and their numbers for the last like 20 years and it was insane. I grew to like CEH a ton more over the past few months and I was planning on taking him at 5. Sad that won’t happen anymore

I’m in same boat. Own the 1.02 & 1.04. I’m going to assume that the owner of the 1.01 takes CEH as he also owns D.Williams. So it seems I might be taking two of Dobbins, Swift, or Taylor. Nice!!! I did have my eye on CEH assuming I’d take him at 1.02 but, he’ll be gone now.

What does CEH to KCC do?

Postby NoEmpathy » Thu Apr 23, 2020 9:48 pm

With the Chiefs drafting C.Edwards-Helaire what does this do to your dynasty draft board? We still don't know where Swift, Taylor, & Dobbins are going, but the Chief's had to be one of the best landing spots for a RB, if not the best.

There was a pretty common top 5 pre-draft with Taylor, Swift, Dobbins, Jeudy, & Lamb. CEH just leap frogged a few spots I think....

Taking him at 1.01 is poor value. Simply doesn't fit the mold of the top pick in a loaded class.

I have 1.01,1.02, and 1.04. I think I would still rather have Taylor, Swift or Dobbins but it would be interesting if he's there at 1.04. I would have to pull the trigger on that.

I had CEH 5th pre-draft and I think you have to consider him at the 1.01 unless Taylor goes to Indy 2 picks later, or something comparable.

CEH would be an outlier if he’s successful, but Andy Reid has already coached two of the biggest RB outliers in Hunt and Westbrook. He’s going to catch passes and he’s not going to have a difficult time getting to the second level. This is Michael Thomas getting drafted by NO- sometimes you just need to adjust to new data.

For sure. I am definitely moving him up, but I need to see where the other backs go before anointing CEH the top pick in the entire draft.

Right now, strong case for 1.01.
