Thoughts on chase young being a can’t miss generational talent. Clearly has incredible physical tools, but generational?? Do you see this guy as a future HOF’er?

I do not. I see a Jadaveon Clowney part 2.

I might be in the minority but I'm not sure he's as good as the Bosa brothers like the media continue to say.

If I had to rank recent elite #1 pass rushers I'd go...

Nick Bosa
M Garrett
J Bosa
C Young
Clowney

as a technician he's not on the same level as the Bosa Bros. But physically I think he's on par with Garrett.

The question for him is whether or not he can start to apply better technique when he can't just be better than everyone he plays against. That's the case for just about every elite prospect though in my opinion.

I think the potential is there, however when comparing him to Bosa brothers, I think Young is as, if not more, athletically gifted. BUT, he doesn't have near the amount of skill/technique as they did coming out IMO. He could develop those over time, but it's almost certain he won't be able to win in the NFL on pure strength and athleticism to the extent he did in college. I think it'll be a longer transition for him to get to the Bosa's level in the pros; if he ever gets there. That's not to say he won't be very good, just don't think I'd confidently predict him being elite yet, let alone a "generational talent".

Young is a beast. His upside is higher than either Bosa. I think he is a can't miss player. One of the best raw pass rushers I have ever seen. Think in a few years he will be the best in the league. Very well built with incredible 1st step quickness. He is still raw but clearly the best player in this draft IMO.

Extremely rare talent only scratching the surface. He is being comped to J. Peppers but think he will be even better than that. My guess is he will be a Top 3 overall IDP pick in one of my my leagues due to elite position scarcity if he goes to a 4/3 base team.

I watched about six or seven Ohio State games last season, and in each one you could not help but notice he was a man among boys (except the Maryland and Rutgers games, which is a red flag). He is "can't miss" in that barring injury he will play a decade in the NFL as a man among men. Whether he can become a god among men remains to be seen, but I would be willing to bet on it. He is by far the #1 IDP rookie for me and it is not even close.

Easily depending on scoring. Our DE's are scored 3.0 per tackle and 1.5 assist per assist vs 2/1 for LB's. The C. Young types are so rare they go really high.

12 points for sacks and int, 2 for tackles. Last year Danielle Hunter was our #1 DE and scored similar to Hopkins, Fournette and Allen. I believe Nick Bosa was our #1 pick. Start 11 on defense, 2 DE. Elite DE are treated like elite RBs in this league

I love that, wish my league was heavier on the D scoring. Defence is generally an afterthought in mine.

I've been go back & forth between Young & Simmons with my second 1st rounder ... I'm pretty firmly leaning to Simmons ... he's Leonard or James depending on where he lines up which based on our scoring is better than either Bosa ... and I don't see Young being as good as either.

Bro, you had me until the J Peppers comment. J. Peppers is ranked #4 all time in sacks. ALL TIME! You are predicting he will best that?
