Just curious, why is Bowden laughable? The dude was dynamic against the best competition in college.
Alewilliam pretty much nailed it.
Just a couple of know it alls. Instantly know more than the people paid to do it, that's why they are on a message board while the draft is going on.

The lesson continues to be: If you are not an elite RB, teams won't hesitate to add high quality depth.

Why does everybody instantly think they know better? I don't get it. I like the pick, he's a punt returner as well as a chess piece type player. Raiders needed a PR as well. Mayock had a great draft last year. Just added Edwards, too. I love it.
Because in my personal opinion you don’t take a WR that basically played RB/QB in the third round of a deep WR draft even if he is a dynamic Swiss Army knife. They went with Edwards which wasn’t bad, but you wait on a player like Bowden until the 4th or 5th. Mayock is taking “his guys”, but I personally don’t think you are getting the full value of your 3rd rounder with that selection. Also I understand the need at WR, but are they under the impression that they are a WR away?
You also take the worse of the 3 top Alabama WRs 12th overall when they could have most likely traded back and still got him. If not they settle for Jeudy or Lamb which isn’t really missing out imo
Great, so because of your personal opinion, Mayock's job is on the line? LOL. You literally have no idea what you're talking about when you say you know when you can get guys, or if they could have traded back. None.
Do you really think Mayock has final say on draft picks? Gruden is the end all, be all for the Raiders. I guarantee no one is getting picked without his blessing.

Not me. They are the Miles Boykins to Ruggs’ Hollywood Brown. Let the morons allow Ruggs to slip (and possibly pick the 3rd rounders above him lol), and take the top drafted WR in what is a stacked class.

Lynn Bowden led the SEC in rushing yards.

He's a weapon with 4.3 speed. Might not ever develop into a strong WR, but he's a quality high upside / fill the stat sheet player in the 3rd.

Doesn't change the fact Mike had a good draft last year, and they work together, yes Gruden probably has final say, but they have a blueprint. People acting like they have any clue when a guy could have been picked, or that a team could have traded back watching it on TV is laughable. None of us have the slightest clue compared to them, and what's going on. Mayock traded back a bunch last year, maybe there wasn't a deal that worked. It's just silly that some of these guys think they know everything and more than people who dedicate their lives to it, before a game has even been played.

Chiefs traded up for Hardman last year in the 2nd. Don't see anybody ragging on that pick. People need to let things breathe, and play out.

The big analytics guys. I'm not too surprised. Just let it be, give it time to play out

The thing I'm most worried about is that this draft class won't live up to the hype this year. No off-season program means these guys are gonna be WAY behind.

My thoughts. Although, as someone else mentioned, Edwards looks more promising than Boykin

Yeah. Landing spots were nice though, overall, IMO.
