They want him to stay healthy but recognize the odds. Love is dead and AP could fall off at any moment. We needed an RB but a WEAPON more so I get it.
Still would rather have had Edwards.

Man... if Edwards falls out of the 3rd round.skinfanjon wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 6:51 pmThey want him to stay healthy but recognize the odds. Love is dead and AP could fall off at any moment. We needed an RB but a WEAPON more so I get it.

I believe it's usually the team drafting that states the position. It's not set in stone, but we'll see. Obviously this comes into play primarily with contract negotiations and franchise tags specificallyalewilliam789 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 6:47 pm I think it’s interesting that Gibson was announced as a RB. Was that Washington sending that in? Or was that just what he was classified as?
Do the Green Bay Packers owner, GM, new head coach, defensive coordinator, assistant coaches, and scouting department not remember literally the last game they played? Where they gave up a total of 285 yards rushing and 4 TDs?
If he’s a RB I’m interested. Give me a freakishly athletic RB that has run routes for 3 years. It’s not a death sentence, but for WRs 6’2” or taller it’s much lower percentage chance of hitting when they fall out of the 1st or 2nd roundIZigUZag wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 6:53 pmMan... if Edwards falls out of the 3rd round.skinfanjon wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 6:51 pmThey want him to stay healthy but recognize the odds. From a fantasy perspective he's definitely more intriguing as a RB. And the backfueld is far less crowded than most people realize.alewilliam789 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 7:00 pmIf he’s a RB I’m interested. He's already stated he wants to be a WR, and that's a need for them. Maybe they are announcing him as a RB because the contract is cheaper? I think he'll get some manufactured touches, but I suspect he'll be used in a similar manner to college.alewilliam789 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 7:00 pmIf he’s a RB I’m interested. This year he's probably going to be a package player. They'll figure out a handful of plays that feature him, move him around and line him up in different spots. He needs to find a position at some point though to be fantasy relevant. I just dont see that happening at WR....or at all really.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 7:08 pmHe's already stated he wants to be a WR, and that's a need for them.
