Who is the best rookie WR other than Lamb and Jeudy?

Postby OhCruelestRanter » Sat Apr 11, 2020 3:55 am

I recognize that some of us have a player other than Jeudy and Lamb as their WR1 or WR2, but they’re in a different ADP tier from the rest right now. I want to find out who the community really likes as the WR3 in this class.

Jefferson by a mile.

The two evals I feel most confident in this draft are Jefferson and Higgins. If Jefferson lands well, he shares a tier with Lamb and Jeudy for me.

Higgins is terribly overrated. Another Treadwell and DND for me.

Not surprised to see Ruggs leading, but surprised it’s be that much. I’m surprised to see Higgins doing that well.

I hope my leagmuemates feel the same way, as I am not on board with the leaders at all. Would be nice for my rookie drafts to have guys I don't want get picked ahead of me in first. Different strokes.

I've flipped on Ruggs and Jefferson a bunch. I have Jefferson and Ruggs tied right now. Jefferson is more polished right now; Ruggs more explosive, more upside. I'll give the slight edge to Jefferson today.

I like what’s known about Ruggs, and the unknown..

Jefferson a close second (or 4th, actually)

It's a crapshoot.

Jefferson is the safest of these players, and has a similar upside so he's probably WR3 for me.. but am I really going to say with any degree of certainty he'll have a better career than Shenault/Ruggs/Reagor/Mims/Edwards/Gibson (who is likely an RB)? Hell no.

Still Reagor for me, in my opinion I see him with the highest ceiling of anyone outside of maybe Lamb.

Yep. Reagor is my no. 3 as well. I love the sophomore production, his 5'11" 206lb. build, his 95th percentile breakout age, and his 99th percentile burst score.

I have Higgins, Ruggs, Mims, Jefferson, and Reagor ranked so closely it will probably come down to landing spots for me to sort them out.

The more I watch the more I think Mims, I actually like him more than Lamb.

He’s always been a favourite of mine and have had him pencilled in for my second for months but I wasn’t expecting those combine numbers (not the 3 cone anyway) - might have to spend a first on him at this rate.

Pre combine I would have said Aiyuk and Jefferson but have cooled slightly on both (I don’t really think Jefferson can separate all that well he looked like he was schemed open ALOT), but they round out my top 5 with Lamb and Jeudy.

Ruggs is my top WR in this class over both Lamb and Jeudy. He is off the charts athletically and has great hands. Most impressive is most of his damage was done from the outside. He will play everywhere in the NFL.

That said, there are several really good WR's in this class. I have Jefferson #4.

Same pretty much.

I had had Jefferson firmly entrenched as my #3 for months. Then about a week ago I flipped Ruggs ahead.

It's a really close race for me
