Love your draft so far. Part of me wishes you stayed at 1.07 and took CEH and then you'd have the extra pick at 2.05 and also 3 in a row, but you have a ton of draft capital so why not roll the dice, eh? Love the AJD pick at 2.02, 16th overall.

The rebuild was a great idea on your part. I think you're going to knock this one out of the park.

2nd what Mike H said. Wow, nice work - A-Rob, Dobbins, Swift and more to come.
Ottawa also having a great draft. Really like the gutsy Cee Dee pick. Keep up the good work guys.

One thing about about watching this draft, I look forward to it because the trades in this league just come out so reasonable. After being offered Slayton for Sutton and a 2nd round pick for Mike Evans this weekend, this league makes me realize how much some of my leagues and leaguemates suck. None of these trades would have gone through in a lot of my leagues. That's not an indictment of the GEDL owners but rather of the people in my leagues.

I just gave notice and officially dropped out of about 1/3 of my leagues this AM after watching the progress so far. It's Purge Day!

hey thanks men , I am hoping to at least get a whiff of 2020 contention while building a strong core.
The WR went away before I could add one (any) of my favorites . I still have a few upside guys I want and will just take a stab at some personal faves with the later picks and perhaps a couple pop in camp (whenever that happens ) and I find a gem or sell at a nice profit . I have always talked a big game and frankly embarrassed myself with the dispersal draft and performance last season/ thus I have rededicated myself to earn some respect from the granddaddy of all pre draft draft leagues . I admired this from afar to the point of starting my own league like this 3 years ago . Just thrilled to get the nod from mark to join last season and wish to validate his choice .

As the CEH drafter at 1.09 i would have been fine with that...definitely better than swiping AJD at 2.02 before i could get my nose in there!

Too, the addition of Emmanuel Sanders is just looking like fuel to the CC fire at this point!

yeah, Manny was tough to trade but I really needed to lock down my QB for years to come. Brees is about done and I've been trying for a while by taking the 3rd/4th best QB in the class and hoping to get lucky. When I traded a future 1st for Hilton and 2.11 the 2.11 was earmarked for a QB. Once I saw Burrow coming into legit moveup range I had to pull the trigger. Although it took a 2021 2nd instead of the 2.11 paired with Sanders to get the deal done. That left me with an intact 2.11 which i paired with my 2021 3rd to move up to 2.08 and nab Ke'Shawn Vaughn.

Essentially I traded Sanders and my 21 1st, 2nd and 3rd for Hilton, Burrow and Ke'Shawn Vaughn after adding Mims with my natural pick. I'm good with that. I think I got better in 2020 and hopefully solved my long Term QB dilema

I will win some trades and lose some but this is how I always look at it - in totality . I do a ben franklin T -close on myself and if I like the new side better than the old side I will be satisfied . Did I improve my situation ? I say for you mission accomplished .

I think getting Mixon for Swift and 2021 2nd is fair value. I prefer Mixon side and essentially completed the same deal earlier this offseason by sending 1.01 (I have Swift/Taylor flip flopping about weekly at that spot), 2021 2nd, Jonnu Smith, 2 2021 3rds for Mixon.
My league has shallow rosters so the 3rds to me don't have much value.

That is Madadamus & Clarion Contrarion respectively - I am sure they'll be back to comment eventually. I personally think its a balanced trade for both. I think I prefer Mixon atm but the right landing spot for Swift could put him on a better early season trajectory.

Really like the Swift side of the trade. Great upside and much younger.

Not close for me personally

So to be not close you must have Swift > Mixon? Otherwise the delta for a ‘not close is whatever excess a 2021 2nd gives above the gap. Not sure that’s a ‘not close’.

Not sure the upside of Swift is much more than Mixon’s, with an improved offense and OL. Mixon is also not yet 24.

Curious take to not be close.

Yeah, that’s how I feel as well. How much more do you prefer Swift to Mixon to say it’s not close?

My take on the comment is as follows. He views Swift as a player who can produce similar numbers to Mixon. Swift is 21, and Mixon is almost 24. That is a big deal when dealing with RB's. That's basically 3 years of prime production that Swift offers going forward over Mixon. On top of that, you get a 2nd round rookie pick.

he actually gets 2 2021 2nds but I still like the deal.
I think long term he is the easy winner short term I like my side .
I am hoping burrow uses mixon the way he used CEH . I could see really big things will add mixon is playing for a contract so he should be primed to explode .

Yes, thus he must have Swift > Mixon, which is a strong take considering Mixon is a 1st round Startup pick per ADP.
