If they're far better than average, I would be ok with my WR returning punts. The Vikings did that with Percy Harvin and he excelled.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 2:39 am Cooper Kupp gets a 16 million a year extension, and now they make him the full time Punt Returner. Ugh. Maybe somebody should tell McVay about Preston Williams.

Now it's Robert Woods, 4/65M.
The salary cap is just a minor inconvenience, it doesn't really matter.

Re: Cooper Kupp extended
i'm pretty sure they're asking him to just fair catch it every time. the last couple of years the rams lost a lot of yards because the punt returners would let the ball bounce sometimes and it would roll forwards. kupp will always catch it so they won't lose yards. also no chance of penalties for holding or pushing in the back. they probably worked out it was better just to fair catch it.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 2:39 am Cooper Kupp gets a 16 million a year extension, and now they make him the full time Punt Returner. either that or they're waiting for raymond calais to get up to speed.

Re: Cooper Kupp extended
They're only at projected -$17.7 million in cap space next year, the Saints have a projected -$79 million in cap space.
The salary cap is only a minor inconvenience, teams will find a way to fit the guys they really want to sign.

It’s nice to see both these guys locked up for a few years.

This is pretty big news and I am just now finding out. Barely a peep. Buried in the Kupp thread. Woods was the #2 receiver in fantasy from week 9 on last year.

Re: Cooper Kupp extended
and so ends the cooper kupp punt returner experiment.
time for either webster or calais to give it a go.

Re: Cooper Kupp extended
I had a good amount of money on the game. I was feeling great after the hot start. Then kupp fumbles to let the eagles back in. I was a little nervous with how easily the Eagles were owing down the field before Wentz threw the pick

Re: Cooper Kupp - Value Up?
He's averaging 11 targets a game. He hasn't had a game without double digit targets. He has one game below 7 receptions. He's been flat out dominant and Stafford has been a major upgrade.
I don't think he'll ever rank high in ADP because of age, but he's looking like a league winner.

This. What are contenders willing to give up at this point?Cameron Giles wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 7:22 am I don't think he'll ever rank high in ADP because of age, but he's looking like a league winner.
