Discuss.

I think Watkins is due for a good rookie season with the Bills.

Pretty good landing spot for him for fantasy purposes I think

I disagree... he is gonna face revis twice a year. I think defenses are gonna focus on him.

Manuel worries me with Watkins here and the fact they have a run first offense (though it is a high tempo offense)

I hate it until I see EJ can play on that gimpy knee and what happens with the other WRs on the roster - then I may still hate it
Stevie is probably gone, but I think this along with adding Mike Williams pretty much screws anyone with a WR in Buffalo right now, possibly including Watkins drafters

Yeah, but unless you believe in Woods, Sammy is going to be fed the ball. And Revis will be gone next year anyways. It seems to be pretty much the same situation as Josh Gordon, and being the guy in a bad offense is actually very good for WR. Its the second WR on those teams that does horrible.

I'm pretty excited about this destination. Short passes are something I have confidence Manuel can do and Marrone can make a receiver work. I'm a little disappointed they didn't address the line, but have a safety valve like Watkins may be nearly as good.

Manuel sucks, is injury prone, and is backed up by nobody.. err Thad Lewis is pretty good.. Was really hoping Watkins went to Cleveland

Glad I don't own The 1.1. if Evans goes to a good destination... its a tougher decision than it was.

I think this is a horrible landing spot for Watkins personally. The good news is that Watkins is extremely productive with taking short passes and turning them into big plays. That's something that any NFL QB can provide for him. I'm not sold on EJ, and I don't like the Bills offensive system either.

I think Watkins is still the most common 1.01 pick, but we will see Evans going 1.01 more than we thought. IMO, Evans escaped the worst of the possible landing spots.

Talent is talent and I'm very happy to still own the 1.01. I'll be taking Watkins as I believe in his talent and being in buffalo actually helps imo. Considering what they paid to move up to grab Watkins, I'd have to assume he'll be involved early and often. It isn't hard to throw screens / I think Manuel could do that. He is immediately the most talented player on their wr list.

^^^All of this and more^^^

Just traded for the 1.01 and now I wish I could fire up the flux capacitor and hop in the DeLorean.....even Oakland wouldn't have been as bad as this imo....

I have 0 faith in EJ and that offense...hopefully I'm proven wrong and he becomes a garbage time target monster....

Don't think Evans is anywhere near Watkins so as a 1.01 owner. Still a no brainer for me.
Watkins has woods, stevie, williams who won't salvage his targets but are a worthy supporting cast.

This.

People hated Detroit as a landing spot for Calvin and Cincinnati as a landing spot for A.J. Green.

Settle down guys. This is dynasty. Sammy is still the clear-cut most talented WR in this class, and is still the easy 1.01 choice

That's a very smart and rational view to have on this situation.

For me, I have Watkins/Evans ranked extremely close. Close enough that situation will matter for me. If Evans lands in DET, then I'd take him over Watkins. I think Evans will go to TB with the next pick. In that case, it's still Sammy at 1.01 for me.
