Eh. Until we hear more I'll chalk it up to a a 21 year old kid (likely) driving a pretty cool car that his new paycheck can afford him and seeing what it can do.

Maybe not the smartest move but I don't think it's any sort of bad character alarm to me.

Trooper H.L. Bautista summed up in his report how fast Moore, 21, was going in his white Mercedes, which first approached Bautista's vehicle from behind.

"F--- that car is moving,"

I did similar things when I got my Trans Am at age 18. I don't think it's a big deal nor something to worry about.
Driving a little fast, not in the same category as DUI/Drugs/Fighting/Sexual Assault in my eyes.
Just a kid having (stupid) fun.

Geez, I thought this kid was pretty clean, but clearly has some decision making issues. He's going to get himself or someone else killed. Anyone know of any prior history of problems?

Yeah, it's not that crazy. I mean I've done that in the past just didn't get a ticket for it. I'm old now though so I've slowed down. A max of 10-15 over the limit and cops generally don't bother you much lmao.

News equal bad. Robot football player need to play football, bleep blorp boop. Suspend Zeke with no evidence of wrongdoing while OBJ is on tape with coke and gets a pass. Tackling now illegal. Commissioner crowd sourcing ideas for public punishment to placate mob. Give young men who can't legally rent a car millions of dollars and fame but also police every second of their lives. I was meant for a different era

Damn, that is equivalent to a 0.72 second 40-yard dash. That's elite speed for a WR, enough for me to move him up to my #2 (behind Anthony Miller of course).

RB: Chubb, Pierce, Swift, JRob, D'Ernest, Ford

TE: Kelce, Dulcich, Fant

Just because you have him on your FF team doesn't mean it can't be discussed. He is lucky it did not turn out differently.

Danny Heatley in the NHL killed his teammate heavily speeding, and Derrick Thomas and Chris Henry both lost their lives, in automobiles. to name a few that didn't turn out so well.

Honestly at least where I live there are many work zones that are no more dangerous than any other stretch of road and the cars moving are completely isolated from the workers on the site by barricades. It also isn't too uncommon to see people around here going 90ish in a 65. While dumb, this seems much less bad to me than driving drunk or other things pro athletes get arrested for routinely.

I believe the work zone penalties are steeper. correct? He might lose his license for a bit, depending on the laws there. Hopefully he learns from this, it's not worth the risk for himself and others.

Yes penalties are steeper but that doesn't necessarily mean it is more dangerous to others than speeding like this in a non work zone is my only point.

No weed/booze found in the car or resisting arrest. Honestly that puts him at better character than 80% of the NFLers

Hopefully it's a wakeup call from a relatively minor incident. The work zone is the only thing giving me pause. Going that fast, he definitely put a construction worker's life at risk. Pull his license so he doesn't see this as an "I'm rich and can afford the fine and get away with more" moment

In highschool, my buddy got pulled over doing 135 in his Dad's BMW on prom night to impress his date. He didn't even care about the ticket, the 17 year old was far more concerned about his dad getting home from Afghanistan the next week to that news. Oops

I never would have done this when I was his age. Because my car had a governor at 110.
