Low-pass-volume offense with 3 other established receiving options on the roster. On paper it's not great. The only way it could have been worse if he went to Denver or something like Sutton did and would have been the 3rd WR.

I feel like his ceiling will be held down a bit with Cam being the one throwing him the ball.
6'0" is "short" for a Cam target.

He's the type of guy I would not draft high this year and look to buy next off-season when he disappoints in his rookie year.
Steve Smith was 5'9". Seems catch radius, not actual height, is the factor.
Steve Smith played with Cam for a couple years only and had made his name well before he came around. Don't get confused.
Not confused.
During the 3 years where Cam and Steve started (2011-14), Smith was a pro bowler and set the 3rd highest receiving yards of his career.

Smith's name value has nothing to do with his catch radius when targeted by an inaccurate rookie.

I just got DJ Moore at the 2.02

I don't know if I should be happy or not.

Has the hype train really fallen that far??

It would be easier to respond if we knew what you gave up to get that.

Love DJM, and 2.2 should have value. What did it cost?

I earned the 2.02, so nothing.

I had the 1.02, 1.10, 2.02 and have the 2.10 yet.

Took Chubb @2. Ridley went at 1.09 who I really wanted. I took Kirk at 1.10. Sutton, Washington and Gallop went before I got to DJ Moore at 2.02

DJ Moore was the clear #1 WR, IMO

Nice pick. Nice value for the first WR selected in the NFL draft.

Nice, an FFPC league I am in DJM went 11th, Ridley went 9th and Kirk 10th. FIRST 8 picks were RB. Same league as signature I used 1.12 & small piece for Jordon Howard couple months ago.... I think people do not believe in Moore, not sure why...

I don’t get it either ... freak athlete that got better each year and produced despite horrendous QB play. As for landing spot, CAR has been searching for a more dynamic, explosive WR1; that’s the whole reason they trade Benjamin last year. To me, it was a great spot.

Moore is easily the best wr in this class. You got lucky he wasn't taken after you took Ridley (not a fan), you got a steal for that spot, start celebrating.

The draft I'm currently in had Ridley @ 1.05, Sutton @ 1.08, and DJ Moore @ 1.10

Moore is only the WR1 of this class if you don't study tape. Wonderful athlete and metrics, but he has a combination of flaws evident on film that will probably limit him to a complementary WR in the pros. There's also a lot of guys competing for targets now in Carolina with Newton's annual sub-60% accuracy and 3k passing yardage.

I still have Moore as the WR3. So late-ish 1st is about where I have him.

Moore is the only WR I’d consider drafting before the 1.10, and I think you can even make a somewhat compelling case for him as high as 1.06, so yeah, getting him at 2.02 is solid value. Funch is entering his contract year, so Moore doesn’t even necessarily need to outplay him to be their WR1 in 2019. As long as he flashes enough this year, they could potentially let Funch walk.
