Harmon broke down how effective Diggs has been against both man and zone this year. If the Vikings aren't going to use him, why not trade him?

Because Mike Zimmer is a moron. Diggs is one of the Top 2-3 route runners in the league and he has 1 less target than someone named Bisi Johnson in this game.Orenthal Shames wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2019 11:59 am Harmon broke down how effective Diggs has been against both man and zone this year. Agree completely, but if the Vikes keep pace Zimmer isn't going anywhere. Aside from a trade, I don't see how it gets better any time soon.Cameron Giles wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2019 12:05 pmBecause Mike Zimmer is a moron. Another pick from Dak. Jones is taking notes for the next negotiating session with his agent.

Re: What are you guys doing with Diggs?
Nice to see Diggs at least trying to say the right things today. Something about "yes I want to be in Minnesota." With a wink.
Then again, he can't be too happy putting up his 3 for 44 with Thielen's monster day today. Maybe the silver lining is he got the message about the different ways (and results) to handle dirty laundry publically? Betting it won't take too long to see if he really got it.

Re: What are you guys doing with Diggs?
You're probably correct, I was speaking more towards my approach coming into this season. I still think we're 1 big game away from Diggs re-claiming his status as a borderline top12 guy, that's typically how recency bias works mid-season with these polarizing players.pvillebiker wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2019 3:17 pmAgree with this. Just curious, haven't all of these WR's passed Diggs by a good bit now?kmbryant09 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2019 8:53 am Don't get me wrong, I love the player and think he's one of the best route runners in the league, but I'm not going out of my way to pay market prices for him. I'd rather pay a little extra and get someone like Allen or Evans, or target someone else in his range like Kupp / Golladay / Godwin.
Godwin for sure. Kupp same thing. And probably Golladay too. Might just be me though.
Someone offered me Diggs for my Kupp & my 1st this week. Uhhh no thanks.
Right now though, you're probably paying Diggs + something (2nd? prospect?) to get someone like Kupp / Golladay.

Re: What are you guys doing with Diggs?
My team is bleep, so I doubled down and bought Diggs, Howard, and Breida for Kerryon and Mike Williams.
As a Mike Williams and Kerryon truther during their preseason draft cycles, it hurt, and I regret the trade immensely.

Re: What are you guys doing with Diggs?
Walking away from the team, getting fined a few hundred thousand dollars. Then the whole press conference after the game where he sounded rather sarcastic about how everything was good, and then winked at the reporters and laughed. This is Diggs the first year into a contract with any substantial money. He's already acting like a diva a quarter of the season in.Jigga94 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2019 4:39 pmWhat's the Diggs Drama?fruity pebbles wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2019 9:54 am Traded him. I want to see how he reacts after they face another good defense and not one of the worst defenses in the league and the team likely goes back to square one in terms of passing attack (being none)FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 6:46 pmWalking away from the team, getting fined a few hundred thousand dollars. Re: What are you guys doing with Diggs?
While I do not own any Stefon Diggs shares - it must have been nice for his owners to see him have a monster game. And after 100 yards in his first 3 games (combined) he has had 319 yards in the next 3 games & is now top 20 in Receiving yardage.
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..

Re: What are you guys doing with Diggs?
Yes, despite the fact that probably 95% of Diggs owners had him on the bench (me included), it was very nice to see. And I say that as an Eagles fan lol.
Hopefully he (and the Vikings passing offense along with it) can string together a few good games in a row, but I'm not holding my breath on that just yet.

I’d be surprised if 95% of owners had him benched. Not everyone is in a 10 team that only starts 7.Life of Pablo wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2019 11:24 am Yes, despite the fact that probably 95% of Diggs owners had him on the bench (me included), it was very nice to see. I suppose there are still plenty of mediocre-to-bad teams out there that had no choice but to start him.
