Sure, but is he going to be getting almost 9 targets a game with Hopkins and his 150ish a year stepping in? Probably not. I have little interest in Kirk, myself. He has scored 3 TD's a year, and all of his TD's last year came in 1 game vs the leagues best pass D. I'd buy for a mid 2nd, beyond that, I don't want to pay the price.

He definitely could. JuJu, Gallup, Boyd, Godwin have all been able to command targets next to an elite counterpart. Now Kliff has the right weapons for his air raid offense, not just a bunch of rookies. With the improved Oline help as well the air raid can fully take off, which is a huge pre requisite for this offense.
I have my doubts. I'm not sold on the system or the coach, either. Teams will have a lot of film on them, too. Clearly a WR upgrade helps, but I am just not sold on Kingsburry as some offensive mastermind. I just don't see how Kirk's targets go up with Hopkins there, considering they threw the ball over 550 times last year as it is.
Well I never said they would go up. But they could realistically remain about the same. I don’t think kingsburry is some offensive mastermind either, but the air raid by nature is a super high volume passing attack. Hopkins could really open up a lot of the field for Kirk, and this could be the year Fitz takes a step back into the 3rd spot.

As a Kirk owner who bought last year as a small piece in a bigger trade, I had sorta given up hope that he'd really emerge as the next young stud WR - he just didn't look like a true #1 in that passing offense. But he's still young, talented, and has pretty solid production considering the situations he's been in so far.

I actually like this move. I think Hopkins will demand a lot of defensive attention, Arizona will be airing it out, and Kirk is just as talented as some recent #2 WR's to excel in pass-happy offenses behind true #1 guys (Gallup behind Cooper, Ridley behind Julio, Ju-Ju behind AB, etc.).

The chances of Kirk becoming an alpha, top12 dynasty WR are all but a pipe-dream, but I actually think this INCREASES his chances of sticking around as a perennial WR 2 / 3 over the next handful of years.

Can easily see 100 targets / 70 catches / 950 yards / 6+ TDs.

So what would his current value be at. Prior to the trade it seemed like a mid/late first. Is a late 1st/early 2nd seem right?

I still think it’s a late 1st but I realize some wouldn’t pay that for him.

With the quality in this draft class, I think that's more than I would of paid even before the Hopkins trade. And I kind of like Kirks future upside.

I would definitely take the top 5 RBs over him, and definitely Jeudy and Lamb.

And when it comes to guys like Reagor, Jefferson, Higgins, it's kind of a toss up before we know their landing spot and draft capital..

So I'd say he's worth something in the range of 1.7 - 1.10.

2021 has been Kirk’s best season so far. Thru 16 games, he sits at 75/939/5 & WR 23/25 in PPR/Standard. He will be a UFA after this season.

I have not watched a single arizona game this season. How has he looked? Is his success more attributed to deandre’s health/missed game/regression, or has he taken the next step? What do you think of his situation and value going forward?
