Reportedly doing dumb stuff like getting drunk & throwing rocks at cars.

Hopefully he got his bleep kicked on the spot, and refrains from that behavior in the future.

The Cardinals were aware of this when they drafted him. I doubt it will be a major issue down the road.

who cares? It was before he was drafted. The WMPO is one of the rowdiest sporting events in the country. I don't see this as having any impact on him as a player

Jay Ajayi says "Hold My Beer"

Jay Ajayi is being sued for $25,000 after allegedly trashing a Los Angeles mansion in February.

"Ajayi and a friend rented the mansion for five days after the Eagles won the Super Bowl in February. According to TMZ Sports, Ajayi and his friend were specifically told by the owner of the place that parties were not allowed. They threw three parties and damaged a table, scratched some floors, and violated the no smoking rule. The owner then confronted Ajayi for the fees when the running back allegedly then shoved him."

Sounds like a real piece of sht. Hope his knee bone on bone condition worsens.

This. If it was actually an issue it would have resulted in a character concern slide

Sounds like nothing more than college kid got drunk and did something stupid. No assault, no sexual harassment. Not a big deal

It's not really a big deal when you think about it. There are people who are far worse than him.

I doubt he'll face any sort of league discipline for this incident, but it is disappointing. In dynasty, I prefer not to invest in guys with questionable character. Throwing rocks at cars for lulz is not only malicious, it's stupid like an angry 13-year-old. I thought Kirk was better than that. If he was drunk, that's not an excuse.

The news about Ajayi, if true, is also pathetic. I'm sure the alleged shove was provoked by something insulting the owner said during the confrontation, though. Still a stupid situation caused by a young man who should have been more responsible.

The Cardinals' website says the team remains "confident in Christian Kirk's character" despite his February arrest.

The team knew about the incident before selecting Kirk with the No. 47 overall pick. "We did our own independent research on it and we felt very good about the information that we received," coach Steve Wilks said. "That’s why we moved forward and really drafted him. As I stated before, we want to bring in great character guys, and I think Christian is one of those guys." It should be a dead issue going forward.

(the only thread I found was about him getting arrested, didn’t wanna scare anyone by suddenly bumping it)

Has anyone watched the Cards and seen him? I know box score shows the team to be a hot mess, but that’s not necessarily the whole story. He still seem like Rosen’s personal Larry Fitz of the future? Just a WR2/3?

He looked good yesterday. He had a couple 30yd receptions and a stat line of 90plus yards. I’m a believer he can be a productive wr2-3 eventually. He’s a rookie, so the inconsistencies will be there.

I like what I've seen from him so far. Not getting consistent targets as expected, but with a nearing switch to Josh Rosen, his arrow is pointing up.
