Why not D'Andre Swift?

Anyone see any trades with swift recently? What’s his value? ADP seems to be between a startup 2nd to late 3rd.

I recently traded for him i over paid but I feel good about him…

2.1 + 2022 1st + Gallup + Justice hill
For
Swift + 2022 2nd + John brown

The 1st not mines, probably at top 2 pick, I was reluctant to move it. I don’t trust the Detroit and I’m high on Gallup, but when he included the 2nd I had to take it.

Just after nfl draft I sent Swift for 1.03 and Trautman in a SF. Trautman turned out to be a nice throw in so far.

Don't get me wrong JW is a nice rb, but I don't see why so many people think he is gonna take sooo many touches from Swift. GB chose to spend a 2nd round pick on Dillon and let JW walk. Lions only gave him a 2yr 6mil contract with an out in 2022. Swift doesn't need to have 20+ touches to be great. If he gets 16-18 touches he will just fine. I'm not that worried.

And again...Aaron Jones has been an RB1 WITH Williams.

Jones with 285 touches two years ago and 248 last year, while Williams logged 150 touches in back to back seasons.

That averages out to Jones - 16 touches/gm, Williams - 10.

Those are reasonable splits to expect from Swift and Williams, and with Detroit likely playing from behind more, Swift will be in the game for his receiving skills. It would be surprising if Williams is getting a large workload with the lack of playmakers the Lions have.

Don't want to spread false information, but there is a reddit thread + twitter accounts suggesting D'Andre Swift is somehow implicated in a murder investigation in Philadelphia. Not sure if anyone has seen anything else?

There's a lot of stuff going around.

To my knowledge he is not a suspect, there were some tips turned in allegedly implicating Swift, but so far PD says not a suspect.

I just called the Philly PD and spoke with an officer in the Commissioner's Office.

There was an anonymous tip that came in via Tipline over 2 months ago that implicated D'Andre Swift in a murder. The officer said that Swift is not being investigated at this time.

@MunderDifflinFF I introduced myself as a journalist and said that was trying to confirm or deny the rumors. The officer I spoke with laughed and said that D'Andre Swift or any other NFL players was not being investigated for murder.

Now that the Philly PD has commented on the case, I will unlock this thread.

They didn't come out and say "this is not true" but instead said "the leak is under investigation".

Which leads one to wonder what the heck is going on.
