Too late for that, this forum only gives the WR1 tag to sub 23 year olds who are breaking out in their rookie seasons. Once a WR hits 25 they are one foot in the grave.

It’s odd- we’re too quick to adjust on WRs and seemingly not quick enough on RBs.
Making it weirder is the narrative that RBs have short spikes of value while WRs have a longer, slower burn of elite production. Regardless of whether and how much you agree with that, it seems counter to your speed of adjustment point.

Calling my shot:

Poor Man's Version of Diggs from Last year who breaks out after escaping a low volume passing offense

Obviously not close as a talent but I don't think many realize just how much volume he is about to get--he carved out a 23+% target share competing with AJ Brown for targets and now he gets to compete with Jamison Crowder and rookie Elijah Moore?

I see a WR2 in fantasy here and still think he is too cheap

Yep, definitely reasons for enthusiasm! Curious how much this offense looks like a Shanahan scheme. I'd be much more eager if it were actually Shanahan running it.

Glad you posted this. I was looking for a CD thread the other day and couldn’t find one… but you did!

He definitely has a path to WR2 this year based on volume. He’s definitely a buy low.

I'm super high on him and agree that this is the year he pulls it all together. He's performed relatively well up to this point and flashed talent, just not as well or as often as any of us would have liked given where we drafted him.

That being said... I was offered Bateman for him and accepted in one league. I'd rather Bateman's WR1 ceiling given his age and profile to what I think is solid WR2 production from Davis from here on out. I also wanted to diversify my risk a bit since I have him in multiple leagues. Time will tell.

Would take a 2nd and a prospect for me to move him. I still believe he hasn't hit his ceiling yet though. Other than the year he was injured he's progressed yearly.

I traded Damien Harris away for Corey Davis the day before the Sony Michel trade so i have had very mixed feelings on this trade. I still like it but Running backs are just so much more important than WRs in dynasty so i really hope it doesnt kill me. I do think Davis is in for a solid year and could easily end up being a young QBs binkie. Highly doubt that is anyone else on the team. Elijah Moore is very talented but he is learning just as much as Wilson so i see that connection being a bit unlikely year 1. If he is a WR2 i will be extremely happy.
