I think PIT drafts a RB early next year or possibly somehow gives Bell the best offer next offseason and he actually stays despite the bad blood right now.

That said, I would hold out for more than a 2nd even in a rebuild. The Bell owner wants him more than that. You should get a few more picks (3rd, 4th) at the very least.

I'm incline to think unless things go really south in the backfield this year, the steelers wont address rb early next year.. the 2019 class isn't supposed to be as good as 2018, and the 2020 is really stacked as of right now.

will have to see how the year shakes out but I think they would address defense next year, and maybe come back to rb in 2020.

All I'm saying is if Deangelo Williams can thrive behind that line, Connor should be able to as well.
I feel their line can work for any RB.

And it helps to have some pretty nice weapons at WR as well to take the pressure off the RB.

It is very possible that Conner is the Steelers lead back next year. That potential is enough for me to hold and wait.

I can understand holding. Who knows when Bell will be back, and it seems like a 99.9% chance Bell won't be a Steeler next season. So, you can reap cheap RB2 production for a game and sell in the offseason.

However, I don't think Pittsburgh would look at their RB's and not want to spend a high pick on one at some point. I wouldn't get too attached to the possibility that Conner will be the guy.

As far as I am aware - Pittsburgh does not have a history of drafting RBs highly - however they have had a recent history of either allowing UDFA to prove themselves (Willie Parker) or acquiring RB via trade / FA (Jerome Bettis, Deangelo Williams & Duce Staley). So I am not saying that they will not draft RB, but it isnt guaranteed either and might be later round RBs (like Day III) - a lot will depend on how James Conner plays this season I bet.

There've been enough inaccurate reports, including him showing up Monday or Wednesday, that it doesn't matter to me until he actually does. But, hypothetically, that doesn't destroy Conner's dynasty value. It would take a chunk out of its recent perceived growth, though that has also been driven by his preseason showing.

I'd do either of those deals today. Hill looks like a stud and Robinson is a monster when healthy. Sell high written all over it.
