I'm in 2 devy leagues, and I love them. Scouting younger prospects is fun, and it's extremely rewarding when you pick a young guy who ultimately turns into an NFL stud.

That said, the yearly drafts are becoming very diluted. This year, Chase, CEH, and Burrow are at the top, and besides that, I'd be considering high school seniors at the end of the 1st round. It's incredibly difficult to commit to a rebuild unless you start within the first few years of the league, before the devy pool dries up.

Joined a Devy league last year, It allows 14 Devy players per year. This set up is nice as the rookie draft is not overly diluted. I can’t watch college football either, except the playoffs, but I constantly keep up on all the future fantasy prospects so it works perfectly for me. Don’t know if it’s just that it’s new to me or what but it’s my favorite league right now, I can’t wait to see how the draft goes.

Anyone willing to share some of their favorite podcasts for devy info? Just getting into the format myself. Not sure who to trust yet when it comes to scouting these guys.

I've been playing Devy leagues for the past 9 years. It's how I started playing Dynasty leagues, and absolutely love the Devy format. It's always nice to have more football to watch and having players to root for and follow. When it is Rookie draft season, I find that I am so far ahead of those who don't watch. Giving me an advantage in terms of knowing which class I'd want more draft picks in and which classes I'd rather trade my Rookie picks away, before many players even start studying the current Rookie class. I'd suggest anyone not playing in one to give it a try before shrugging it off.
As for favorite podcasts, mine would have to be DLF's own Ray Garvins' Destination Devy Podcast. He brings so much information to every episode and is constantly striving to find more a better ways to reach his listeners, he just opened a YouTube channel as well.

I’m looking for another one to join now. It’s definitely added a nice twist to dynasty. Given me something new to research instead of constantly watching the world burn.

I like devy leagues and play in a few but I especially like 1 round of devy players and only draft eligible players at that otherwise the rookie draft is lacking too much.
Not all will declare so that usually means there are always 13+ devy players rostered in my league.

This is the 1 Devy League I play in. Have been involved since it started in 2013. We have very little turn over for a 16x2 (32 team) league. Usually only 1 or 2 teams each year if any. The expanded Devy allows for many different ways to build a team, while the salary cap and contracts allow for plenty of player turn over. This league is commissioned by a committee of 3 so there is no dictatorship involved. All rule changes are league polled before being introduced.

We have filled all opening this year but keep in mind for next year. But check it out. set up nice and well run.

World Fantasy Football Challenge Devy League or (WFFC): http://www55.myfantasyleague.com/2020/home/43724

This is a 16X2 Contract/Salary cap league with 53 player rosters, full IDP and 20 Taxi Spots for both Devy & Rookies.
League format is based off the NFL with 2 conferences, 8 divisions and 32 teams. All NFL players available in each conference are separated and no trading between conferences. So, this league is basically a 16x2 league. Schedule format is to play each team in your division twice all other conference teams once for a total of 16 games. To obtain this there are double headers the first 3 weeks of the season. Then the winner of each conference will play (NFC vs AFC) in the Championship.
Starting requirement are very flexible and scoring very balanced between offensive players and IDP. Start 1QB, 1-7RB, 2-7WR, 1-5TE, 1-5DT, 1-5DE, 3-5LB, 1-5CB, 1-5S for a total of 22 starters.

This is a very deep devy & IDP league. Each team can have up to 20 Devy players or Rookies on taxi squad at a time.

Entry fee is $25 each year.
I only play in 16x53 with 10+ taxi size leagues with full IDP. All are PPR and most value return yardage. So my opinions may be skewed To these deep roster leagues.

Dynasty Fantasy is not a game, it’s a full time hobby.
