I will say I like the top 3 as well. Landing spot might be of biggest value to Swift. Best pass catcher but I don't see anything too crazy when I watch him.

I think Dobbins is the best all around and probably why people have him going 1.01. kinda reminds me of Harry last year. A lot of the WR had big concerns but for some reason Harry not as much so he went as the top WR in a lot of leagues.

I think Taylor has the most to gain from his combine. He plays like a bruiser and if he can show that breakaway speed, watch out
A vote for Swift over JT and Dobbins at this point is basically will-full ignorance of the season just been, and a projection of the skillset at the next level. At this point, if you're a Swift guy (which I admittedly am) you're probably waiting for the other shoe to drop from the combine/medical testing - why did the 2019 Swift look so pedestrian, and is that 2018 guy still in there?

Personally I'm going to gamble that yes - he's still in there. If it comes out that he played through something, then that would make all the sense in the world to me. It's also worth noting, though - that Georgia offense really was nothing special this year, and I watched them a lot. They were extremely happy winning games 14-10. Not exactly conducive to stats on the same level as the Buckeyes...

Though of course, by that argument, it makes JT even more impressive...
Nick Chubb fans who doubled down on Chubb after his injury and less impressive college results (following that injury) seem to have been well rewarded - so I would not be surprised if down the road Swift owners are eventually equally rewarded. We shall see what the combine suggests of course.
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..

JT certainly has the most to gain from the combine. If his hands look good and he shows well in the cone and 40 he could be the first RB taken in the draft.

Because on tape he looks like the best pure runner of the big 3.
Based on his tape, his hands will look good.
We shall see, I hope he shows them well at the combine, but for me catching passes looked like it wasn't natural to JT. It's an area of weakness for me when I watch him on tape

Difference between Swift and Chubb is the fact one had a pretty horrendous knee injury and the other did not. I know, I know Thanks Captain Obvious. That said I've been wondering if Swift was dealing with some injury this year and we might hear rumblings around the combine about it. I recall hearing similar rumblings about Dobbins last offseason and then we saw how he was shot out of a cannon in 2019. Go look at his 2018 tape and you will not see the same player. Nothing was ever confirmed in regards to Dobbins being injured in 2018 but it would definitely explain why Dobbins looked pedestrian in 18 and not so much in 19.

Oops. I missed that it was Taylor. I was saying Dobbins hands looked good on tape. JT's were serviceable.

Adding to the case for Dobbins, he never missed a game due to injury, and only had 5 fumbles his entire career.

Wow. Relax man. First off, your comment didn't really add anything to the thread, and came off as if it wasn't worth talking about. This is a Dynasty Football forum. If that's your opinion, great, but you really didn't come across well with your original comment. It basically insinuated the thread was a waste of time, so what kind of response were you expecting?

Of course landing spots matter, but not entirely. Those who faded AJ Brown because he went to Tennessee are probably kicking themselves if they moved him down their board due to landing spot. The original post was about Dobbins climbing in value due to a few reasons, including his big game vs Clemson, his big year, and the idea that due to his performance coming out of HS as a 99th percentile SPARQ athlete, he would gain interest post combine.

Lots of people trade picks BEFORE the NFL draft. If Dobbins has a big combine, he could be a reason a lot of trades involving the 1.01 occur. If you really don't believe any conversation on rookies and their potential pick slot matter until post draft, why are involving yourself in them, and being antagonistic?

Who is a good NFL comparison to Dobbins as far as running style? Not production or size necessarily, just style?
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.
