Re: Consensus #6 in rookie draft
There is no consensus 1.06 in January, just like there is no consensus 2.07. I'm not sure there's ever been a consensus 1.06, BTW, even after the NFL draft.

Yes it should.PPE82 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2020 5:43 pmNo it shouldn’tFantasyFreak wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2020 12:44 pm Way too early to worry about it. Tee Higgins I'd take right now over anyone people have mentioned, but you have to wait until the combine and draft are done.
BTW. This should be in Team Advice.
"Hey guys, with Etienne going back to school I'm wondering who the consensus #6 rookie is. I have 1.01, 1.02, 1.03, 1.04 and 1.06. Assuming the guy at 1.05 takes Lamb, I'm stuck wondering what to do at 1.06."
This is specifically to do with his dynasty team. Do you know who "the guy" is? It's the guy in his Dynasty League. He's telling us his picks, and asking what to do with one of them. That's the entire foundation of the thread. Team Advice.

Re: Consensus #6 in rookie draft
Right now there's a widely agreed upon top 5. Therefore, discussion on who the next guy is seems plenty meaningful for the main board. Just because he said he has the 6th pick doesn't make it a team advice post. It's not like he's drafting tomorrow.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

Re: Consensus #6 in rookie draft
Thanks for all the input guys. @kmbryant, your big post breaking down the players is what prompted my question. I've only been doing dynasty for 3 years, and just found this forum mid way through the season. So thankful for all you guys and being able to run my questions past/to you guys.
Sorry for the forum issue. I honestly debated which forum to put it in. My question definitely used my team as the primary example so team forum made sense, but at the end of the day I really just wanted to know if "the community" favored one player over the rest on draft board. Honest mistake on my part and I apologize.
Thanks again guys, I'm looking forward to some of the dust settling after the combine and draft.

Re: Consensus #6 in rookie draft
"4. There are 4 top landing spots for RB's and another 5 - 6 that I think are very good - MIA, HOU, KC, TB at the top and then NYJ, SEA, SF, PIT, DET, etc. as sneaky-good landing spots. "
I would add Atlanta to that top group. ATL and KC may be the best spots of all.

That's basically what Mizelle does. Keep an eye out for him making a thread with links to participate
And how can there be a consensus #6? I don't know if there's a consensus top 3 yet

Re: Consensus #6 in rookie draft
Don't think there's a consensus player or pair of players at any slot in the draft, except Joe Burrow in Superflex.

#FirstWorldProblemsHey guys, with Etienne going back to school I'm wondering who the consensus #6 rookie is. I have 1.01, 1.02, 1.03, 1.04 and 1.06. Assuming the guy at 1.05 takes Lamb, I'm stuck wondering what to do at 1.06.
Re: Consensus #6 in rookie draft
This. Was going to reply to the comment saying there's no consensus top 3. There's really no consensus top pick yet outside of SF. Long ways to go....Cult of Dionysus wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2020 1:15 pm Don't think there's a consensus player or pair of players at any slot in the draft, except Joe Burrow in Superflex.

Would actually like to see a link to this league... To see how you managed to amass.all those picks. Would be very interesting.

Re: Consensus #6 in rookie draft
By the way...I didn't even realize there was a consensus #1, but I guess I'm in the dark because multiple people go along with the stipulation that there's a consensus top 5.
Re: Consensus #6 in rookie draft
There isn't a consensus #1 in 1QB (Burrow is #1 in SF/2QB), but there is a consensus top 5 at this time, the question generally is what order to put them in. There are sure to be some outliers who don't agree that Dobbins, Jeudy, Lamb, Swift, Taylor are the top 5 currently, but the definition of consensus is "a general agreement", and the vast majority of people on this forum are in agreement that those are the top 5 prospects in this class at this time. Just about every mock draft or ranking I've seen on this forum has had those 5 players and Travis Etienne (going back to when it was assumed he would declare) ranked or drafted among the top 6.
