Agree to disagree. I would have wanted at least 1.05 for this. Everett was having a nice season for a Te before the injury and Sony could bounce back. But really depends on your roster make up and if you could to give them up.

Is Sony still worth a first? I was so frustrated as an owner by the end of 2019, I haven’t even bothered shopping him because I was confident none of my league-mates would want any piece of him.

I don't know about this one. It's just seems like you're throwing away a year's worth of production without getting much in return.

The 2021 1st looks like a decent team. His RB depth is suspect and with an injury he could easily miss playoffs (bottom 6). That would put that pick in the lottery for 1.01. I did it at outside chance that pick ends up early. I asked for a 2nd, but got countered to a 3rd instead.

Anytime you can trade a 1.12 for a 1st in the next year is a win IMO. Sure, this draft is deep, and you push out the pick for a year, but this is a win no matter what as you improved your draft position and got another dart throw on top of it all

This is the wrong way of thinking. Rookie slot values are not linear year to year. The 1.12 this year might be a player that would go 1.07 next year, not to mention you lose a year of production which should be given a discount.

Last year was the time to trade your late 1st for a pick in this class, you aren’t doing it here unless you’re pretty certain that it’s going to be a decent pick.

2 trades for team 2:

Gave up the 1.24 and 2.07 (so gave up the 12th rookie prospect and the 19th prospect), plus a couple thirds next year - got back Evan Engram & Adam Thielen

Also sold my own 21 2nd (HOPEFULLY pretty late) and a 3rd, got back Goff (BARF!) - I didn’t like making this trade, but part of it was being trade horny & part of it was feeling super gross about my QB situation; I also felt comfortable spending the 2nd as I have quite a stable of 2021 picks and felt I could afford the luxury price. Still don’t love hitching anything to Goff tho...
