The counter is absurd but I don't really agree that an early 2nd for Conner is "quite generous". Possible he found it to be a lowball and sent the counter to make a point? Or maybe he's just bad at valuing players idk.

I agree with that. I think Conner should be about a late 1st at this point since he is a starting RB who is healthy and should be valued to a contender, I definitely see a path to Conner losing a lot of value though by next year depending on if the offseason is favorable or not to him. I don't think it's the only outcome though. It's fairly reasonable to think he resigns on a 2 or 3 year deal and keeps the job.

The pick I offered him will literally be the 2.1. It's an 0-10 team, the only team he won against this year.
Didn't matter, I won anyway and I get Mixon, Montgomery and Gurley back, and Salvon Ahmed panned out. Don't need Conner anymore He actually contacted me about doing the deal again for the 2nd today and I told him no thanks.

I think you gave a solid offer, but not generous by any means. Late 1st/early 2nd is where i would sell him where I own him. The other owner's counter was absurd and likely a response to what he though was a lowball offer. Even if it wasn't.

Not a formal "offer" but I inquired about Big Ben (from a 2 win team) in leagues 3 (12 team 1QB) and was told he would need either Dobbins or Diontae.

After some discussion about how that was crazy he said it wasnt his job to help me win.

To make things worse, the league only lets you keep 16 players and Josh Allen is his QB1 so my guess is Ben gets dropped at the end of the year
