Ended up trusting Wentz and I won. I thought Wentz looked really solid today. Played within his weapons available and didn't make many mistakes.perkinsrooster wrote: ↑Sat Dec 21, 2019 9:43 pm I'm dying here. Wentz in cold weather with no WR's, or Cousins in prime time against a winning team but at home in the dome.
I'm leaning Wentz, what do you think? Wentz is going to have to air it out to someone, right?

I just really needed to come here to vent about KA falling over his f*cking feet at the half yard line. Basically a -12 play for me starting Rivers. I’m up 25 playing D. Adams and Hunter (DE) Monday night. Not good.

Thank you sir. Also thank you to you and the other regular posters who provide their thoughts on this silly game throughout the year. It's helped me grow in my own understanding of how to play over the past few years.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2019 10:01 pmHe did. For real. I get it. Most plays in every game come down to a few inches here or there in sports, unfortunately, sometimes ones like that stick out. Best of luck Monday night.

It goes both ways. I find all these interactions help, in one way or another, to learn more about this silly game we play.perkinsrooster wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2019 10:34 pmThank you sir. It's crazy. I lost by 3 points last week in a re-drafter final. I was winning all day until the last few minutes. You can drive yourself nuts thinking about all the ways you could have won.

A lot of people have been saying it's stupid because they could have been up by 2 scores if he ran it in but we saw in the Cinci game exactly why it's the smart play. Definitely would have hurt some one though.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2019 5:33 pm I wonder how many Championships that Sanders play will ruin?

Gurley has done it multiple times in his career. It's the right play. It ices the game.AussieMate wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 12:01 amA lot of people have been saying it's stupid because they could have been up by 2 scores if he ran it in but we saw in the Cinci game exactly why it's the smart play. Game I would be most worried about is TEN .. they could smash HOU to get in.Phaded wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2019 2:34 pm So I saw this before this week.. but didn't find it worth posting because I doubted all the week 16 things would happen..

Yeah now that the Steelers lost they need to win to get in. I said it before about BAL resting starters too.. either way it's cool they have a shot and it looks like some crazy 2 week parlay lolPlank wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 2:28 amGame I would be most worried about is TEN .. they could smash HOU to get in.Phaded wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2019 2:34 pm So I saw this before this week.. but didn't find it worth posting because I doubted all the week 16 things would happen..

Re: Week 16 Discussion
Have been in a rebuild and didn't really expect to truly compete this year, but the stars aligned and I got into the finals. Looking at matchups, I thought I had the edge. His team underperformed, but losing Penny, Guice, DJ Moore, Godwin and Ertz was just too much. Also having Russell Wilson, Cooper and Mixon underperform didn't help.
My team is built for the future, especially with the draft picks I have, but it sucks to get to the finals and have your team fail to show up against a team that also underperformed.

SEA and GB are not that good despite their records. I think BAL, NE, KC, and BUF could easily dominate either team. The only legitimate contenders in the NFC are SF and NO, both of whom are playing incredibly well despite tons of injuries on both offense and defense.

I dont think you are in a "rebuilding" stage anymore with Moore/Godwin/Cooper/Mixon/Ertz/Russ etcsteelman wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 7:43 am Have been in a rebuild and didn't really expect to truly compete this year, but the stars aligned and I got into the finals.
