I think he may get some more opportunities next season, depending on what's happening with Gurley. I'm still hoping for an ekeler trajectory. He didn't get many opportunities in his first season either.
Your team must be terrible if you don't have 8 players worth keeping over him.
You haven't played in many 24 team leagues have you? Nobody has a sure thing as the 8th keeper. Unless you play with children in your leagues?

Yeah - 24 teams with 8 keepers would mean that in theory the top 192 players are rostered.

FWIW - Henderson is currently ranked 123rd among all dynasty assets.

I just saw DaHen  was placed on IR due to a high ankle sprain, for which he is having surgery.
When did this injury occur?

I just read that too. High ankle sprain that requires surgery? I don't think I've ever heard that before. I wonder if this isn't two separate things instead.

When you run and cut as hard as this dude, injuries like this are an unfortunate risk.

I don't disagree but his workload was minimal. Not good for his long term outlook if he can't hold up with this usage.

Tua had surgery on both his ankles for similar things, I believe.

Perhaps that's why he was never used.. but it begs the question, when the heck did this happen and why is this the first we are hearing of it now that they're eliminated from the playoff race?

Would have just been something he was playing through, now that they're eliminated everyone who needs surgery will be getting it.

Drafted him as a handcuff to Gurley. Dropped him because it looks like McVay has no plans for him.

Never really understood what people saw in this guy and why they had him as a 1st rounder, some had him top 6. I felt he was a mid-late 2nd rounder. Classic example of drafting situation over talent. Even then the situation wasn't really clear between not fully knowing how Gurley was gonna look or be used and fact that they kept Brown. I felt Gurley was on a definite decline but figured he had 2 more years of getting the bulk of workload or at least 50/50. So I was not comfortable spending a 1st on a rb who was almost a lock not to be the guy for 2 years. Curious what people think he will be long term now.

I actually saw this as taking talent ahead of situation. He has a lot of talent. The system is slightly different than where he came from.

First year is definitely disappointing but I am not giving up yet, and Henderson haters shouldnt be crowing either

Agreed.
