Carlos Hyde- what Gives? I thought this dude was toast!

Seems like he could be in a position to inherit Fournette's workload. They could always draft someone, or give Grant a lot more run, but I'm thinking the experience and (from what was said in SF and CLE) locker room respect he gets, Hyde might be just the type of back Coughlin will roll with. He's dirt cheap...

Not much. Or at least he shouldn’t be.

Even if Damien Williams goes down I find it incredibly hard to believe Hyde would get meaningful volume there. He’s a bad pass catcher and blocker. I would target whichever rookie makes the team between D Thompson and J Williams.

I would also expect them to target a future starting RB in the draft next year, like in round 2 or 3, and hope for him to take over from Damien Williams at some point next year and be productive for 4 years on a rookie contract.

Really? The most talented RB in KC is only worth a 3rd or 4th round pick which would most likely be totally worthless? I could see that if KC drafted another RB but as of now he looks to be the best they have. I think he could put up high RB2, possibly RB1 numbers in 2019 if they don't pick up anyone else. I was thinking at least a 2nd when I started this, I'm really surprised how little he's valued by some of you but I appreciate the input.
