Is it not the same as a player catching the ball while going out of bounds. They start the catch in bounds but must maintain possession while clearly out of bounds.

Yes, it's exactly the same. For the purposes of yardage, the catch is completed the second it is secured by the WR. Now the catch can be canceled if the ball is dropped, bobbled, comes loose, etc. but the second it's secured is where the ball is considered to be caught.

If Brees were blindfolded and just threw the ball up to MT’s side of the field, he’d still complete 75% of his passes. Thomas is just sick.

Brees has the record taken away by a phantom OPI call, and Payton can't challenge it because it's under 2 minutes, and the don't even call it in to look at it. Meanwhile the ref on TV is saying it's not the right call. LOL. NFL has such a problem with officiating.

There was really nothing there. Little bit of hand fighting, but that "push" he didn't even connect with. It was a bad call. I mean, Booger thought it was a good call, that says it all, doesn't it?
