What to do with the 1.02?

I just finish the season with 5 wins in 14 games. The season was hard. I lost Luck and the rush of injuries did not helped. I tried my best for the qb. I trade a second round finally for D. Jones because i think he can become a good starter in the league and my focus is to wait Trevor Lawrence next.

That said i have many need to focus. In defense that is not a problem i can improve my lbs. They were just ok this year but have no problem to improve. My focus is on offense. I badly need rbs and wrs too.

I am really not sure which position to go on the draft? There are great prospects for rb but i love Jeudy too. Should i stay at 1.02 and take the best player? Should i trade down and try to win some others picks in the deal?

Looking over your roster, you seem set at WR for the next 3 years with Keenan Allen, Kirk, Mike Williams, and Godwin. Cooks has regressed so let's say you move on from him. If you drafted Jeudy you probably wouldn't use him regularly over any of the guys I just mentioned, at least not in year 1. You also have Preston Williams! Guy looked legit before he got hurt. I'd go RB all the way at 1.02 and hope maybe one of the top QBs falls to you at 2.02, which should happen in a 10 team league

Obviously it's a bit early. 100% hold the pick it will be worth a lot more later. Unless you can do like pick 4 and 6 or something.

Juedy was my first thought. Wide recievers have much longer careers and there is no such thing as having too many top guys at any position.

As of right now that would be my pick at 1.2

I know you were just kind of teasing but I actually think peoples minds are more on the draft and the future more in GM mode then. Now during the season people, at least those still alive are in coach mode looking week to week.

That being said my deadline is a month past.

Hold the pick for now and when you are OTC try and trade back. Having multiple first round picks is probably better than pick 1 or 2

You shouldn't be targeting a QB that's still a year + away in a 1QB league.

You shouldn't be focusing on what position you should draft.

Analyze the prospects and take the best one. The best one wont be a QB in a 1 QB league.

You shouldn't be targeting a QB that's still a year + away in a 1QB league.

You shouldn't be focusing on what position you should draft.

Agreed. I mean why bother even thinking about a QB who won’t be relevant until what, 2021/2022? I’m not even sure I would be wasting a pick on a QB when you probably trade a pick for an established QB where you know what you will get.

This is the class you want a lot of shots on. Wait until OTC and someone is lusting after a player. If you can trade back to say 4 or 5 you are still getting a stud. A later first added in or maybe an early and a mid 2nd would be amazing.

There are two things you should do right now:
1) Hold the pick.
2) Approach the owner of the 1.01 and see what it would take to move from 1.02 to 1.01. If it ends up being little to move up, I'd move up. You never know until you ask. Last year I had the 1.03, asked early off season the guy with 1.01 what it would take to move up to 1.01, he said my 3.03 (this was a SF league), but he'd wait until after NFL draft. He tried to find some other trades I guess, didn't find anything, and offered it to me. I snap accepted. I can't say that that would happen this year, but you never know unless you ask.
