1.01 value
Obviously things could change if one of the top players ends up in a perfect landing spot. In a draft with depth and no obvious top player what would you value the first overall pick? Guy who owns the 1.03 in my league has already shown interest in possibly moving up a couple spots. What would y’all need on top of and/or in general player or pick wise to give up the top pick?
Qb: Mahomes
Rb: Jacobs Ceh, Damien williams, Vaughn, rojo, fournette, Singletary, akers, snell, devontae booker, boston Scott
Wr: devante Adams, godwin, juju, mclaurin, diontae johnson, mims, Allen Robinson, gallup, Preston Williams
Te: hock, fant
Cb: Kyle fuller, Carlton Davis
S: Jamal Adams, Justin poyer
Edr: nick bosa, Joey bosa, Josh Allen, Jpp, emmanuel agbah
IL: Chris Jones, Jonathan Allen
Lb: Darius Leonard, Roquan Smith, greenlaw
1QB
10 team league
32 man roster
0.5 point ppr
6 point pass td
Idp scoring is even with offense

Re: 1.01 value
Right now, I don't see much difference between 1.01 & 1.03 ... actually I prefer 1.03 since the decision will be made for me. A lot could change, obviously, but I think there are at least 3 guys with a legit argument for 1.01.
Re: 1.01 value
Assuming 1qb, late first or an early second
Re: 1.01 value
I'm not as knowledgable as some but is swift not the clear 1.1? Obviously depending on landing spot. But he is easily the best RB no?
I'm looking at probably having the 1.04 and maybe the 1.07
I'd trade both for swift. Maybe even throw in a late 2nd to sweeten it

QB - DWatson(HOU)Minshew(JAX)Darnold(NYJ)
RB -NChubb(CLE)DHenry(TEN)JTaylor(IND)Gurley(ATL)
WR -DHopkins(ARI)ACooper(DAL)CGodwin(TB)OBJ(CLE)

K - Zurlien(LAR)Crosby(GB)
Def - ARI DAL
[rookie] Haskins(WAS)DSwift(DET)Jefferson(MIN)MHardman(KC)

Rosters must always be 3qbs 4wrs 4rbs 2tes 2kickers 2dst and protected players don't take up a roster spot, but are only for rookie/2nd-year players that were drafted

Re: 1.01 value
No he's definitely not the clear #1 overall pick or even RB. Many (including me) have Jonathan Taylor as the #1 RB, and I'm sure there are a few that have Etienne or Dobbins there. Also Jerry Jeudy is very much in the mix for 1.01 and might actually be the most popular pick at 1st overall, and wouldn't surprise me if there are a handful of CeeDee Lamb truthers who would take him there.MrUbuto wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 6:54 pm I'm not as knowledgable as some but is swift not the clear 1.1? Re: 1.01 value
Interesting. I have 2 top 4 picks a mid 1st and a late first I was considering paying a heavy price for him at 1.1 but I might be better off just letting the chips fall where they may eh?

Re: 1.01 value
I mean there's a long way to go and a lot that could happen between now and everyone's drafts, so he absolutely could be the unquestioned #1 pick by then depending on where he goes, but as of right now it's really close at the top.

Re: 1.01 value
As of right now I don't think there is a huge difference between Taylor and Swift but that all changes if one of them goes to KC (or any other landing spot you find enticing).

They post idiotic articles semi-regularly, and I've learnt to take certain members of their writership with massive grains of salt. So, caveats established...

They comp Swift to Marlon Mack in this article. Taylor? He's Nick Chubb. Etienne? He's Lamar Miller, *obviously*.
Certainly gave me and my D-Swift dreams a second of pause over my cup'o coffee this morning. Shades of the Peter Griffin "Mystery Box" skit... "Do you want the boat, or the mystery box, Mr Griffin?" "I gotta have the mystery box. It might even be a boat!"

Re: 1.01 value
You'd still prefer 1.01. You could then trade back to 1.03 and get something on top. It's always better to have the higher pick.Forza_Azzurri wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 5:50 pm Right now, I don't see much difference between 1.01 & 1.03 ... actually I prefer 1.03 since the decision will be made for me. No. Jonathon Taylor is right up there with him, and some prefer him, and I would not argue that.MrUbuto wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 6:54 pm I'm not as knowledgable as some but is swift not the clear 1.1? Obviously depending on landing spot. But he is easily the best RB no?

Re: 1.01 value
I agree with the Chubb comp for Taylor, but Mack for Swift? Not a good comp at all for me.mild wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 7:43 pmThey post idiotic articles semi-regularly, and I've learnt to take certain members of their writership with massive grains of salt. So, caveats established...

Re: 1.01 value
Agreed, definitely. It'll probably take until the combine to outright disprove it... but he's already got far more refinement and vision to his game, for my money.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 8:05 pm I agree with the Chubb comp for Taylor, but Mack for Swift? Not a good comp at all for me.
Hell, I'm all for people throwing cold water on his hype, though...
Re: 1.01 value
I lost the 1.01 by 2 points and am pissed. Not sold on Taylor at all, and totally sold on Swift. If things don’t change in the process I think I’ll have to pay up for the pick or hope Swift drops to me at 2.
