Welp going into the playoffs I have Green hurt, Cooks disappeared, Kittle Hurt, trades Derrius Guice for David Johnson and now he’s benched, and nobody else to start!

I may be starting OJ Howard or Carlos Hyde in Week 14

If I win, I'm in. If I lose, I'm out. My team has been a little weak this year, but with players getting hot, guys getting healthy, I could go on a serious run if I can just get in.

Talk about selling low on Guice... that deal would have been there this offseason (assuming you were dead set on selling a 22 year old RB for a 28 year old one).

Wondering how many people screwed up worse than I did this year in one of my leagues.

Potential Points going into week 13: 3rd in the league, and 50 points away from being 1st.

Actual Record (5-7 and about to be 5-8). Never had a worse performance in terms of choosing starting lineups. Just botched the hell of it. Disappointing year, looks like I'm gonna miss the playoffs in 3 leagues despite having loaded rosters in each of them.

The one saving grace is all four of my productive struggle tank teams were fantastically bad and locked in either the 1.01, 1.02, or in two leagues, slots in the lottery for the 1.01-1.06. Rosters are interestings, but I made sure to build up WR in start ups, and via trades, and acquire picks to address RB via the '20 draft in those leagues, so currently it looks like:
APEX (3 lottery picks for the 1.01-1.06)
Doom (1.02, 1.05 and 1.07 pending playoff results)
Latecomers (the 1.01, 1.02, and 1.07 pending playoff results)
Shire (1.01, and 1.07 pending playoff results)

Accidental choke jobs:
Masters: 2 lottery picks (1.01-1.06)
Benchwarmers: 1.05
Throttle: 1.06

Happily, all of those teams save for Masters, and Throttle could use a lot of RB help, so this rookie draft hopefully will help a ton. Masters and Throttle should contend for titles next year having won titles in '18 and are currently stacked and not old either (unless you think OBJ and Evans are). So in that sense, getting those picks should make a repeat of the '19 horror show unlikely.

In one keeper league I was in, somebody grabbed Guice who I had to release for the keeper startup (already had Chubb, Cook, Mixon, Gurley, K. Allen), then cut him when he got hurt. I picked him up using all my waiver wire money in September, and now I have Chubb, Cook, Gurley, M. Sanders, Guice, to go with DJ Moore (traded Mixon for him anticipating a bad year after the Jonah injury). Still can't believe it. I sold Guice in one league super cheap as well, but for futures in 2020 and young RB Prospects. Very happy to have gotten Guice back in a couple of leagues after selling him in a few places in the offseason.

$33M in dead cap next year. Earliest they can get out is 2021, where they would still have significant dead cap tied up.

Jaguars are out of it, so it's the right move.
