Lamar is a phenomenal talent and one of the best QBs in the league, and he's having the best performance this year, but that doesn't automatically mean he is the best in the league.

They update players ratings throughout the year on Madden now. I don't know Lamar's overall rating, but I know he was just made the fastest QB ever in the game over Vick, and Vick is more upset about that than losing the rushing record lol.

It's weird because I thought Vick had a 99 speed rating when he was on the cover and Lamar just got bumped to 96 or something... Who knows. Madden Ultimate Team releases cards with Speed ratings over 100 and the game is broken anyway so what's it matter really? Haha

Update: We bought our son Madden 2020 for his Xbox for his 9th birthday. He had a friend come over who has played a lot and it was his Ravens vs. the Vikings with my old self trying my best at the Controls. Be warned, Jackson is terrifying in the game! Lol. Like I tried to "spy" him with a middle linebacker and he just ran by me. If I spied him with a safety he just threw it over my head. If I blitzed he just hits one of like 3 TEs on a quick route (the game seems true to real life personnel packages. What a cool game BTW). Granted, I'm not good at the game but I don't know if there is a way to stop him.

His TDs will go down and his Insta will go up a lot. This dude is not a sub 10 INT QB a 6 to 1 TD/INT. He will go over 10 next year and probably every year the rest of his career. And his TD/INT will come down to a 3/1 ratio.

I agree, he is going to throw more ints, but he will also throw more tds, he will become an even better passer. I am not sure which lucky tds you are talking about, I mean if that's how you classify them then every qb in the league gets a lot of those because he is putting the ball on guys. We haven't seen Jackson's ceiling yet.

Blah blah blah, keep doubting the man.

But yeah, cool story. I will go the other way.

Perhaps there will be regression from injury or circumstance outside reasonable control, and potential regression thanks to a newly reinforced defense further muting shootout script (I am anticipating a big offseason for one of the smartest and best run FO's in the league).

But I see further strides coming for the Ravens overall, thanks to better team construction and talent, and further offseason refinement by Lamar of his game (need I truly remind you of the year 1 to year 2 leap again?). He will always have blowup upside in any game he starts. He will be the Fantasy QB1 in all drafts next year, and rightly so.
