Due to all these injuries (Dak, Kessler, Jacoby) and Wentz's ascension it would be incredibly tempting to throw him out there but at this point I'm all on board with having him sit and wait. I'm sure we will see him this year but hopefully the rest of the Rams team can get their act together and prove Week 1 was just a rarity whenever his number is called.

The reason to be worried is that Jeff Fisher is his coach, so be very worried. Wentz's play just makes the Rams look more inept, either they drafted the wrong guy, or they aren't smart enough to just go ahead and get their rookie under center. It would be one thing if he was sitting and learning from Peyton Manning or Aaron Rodgers, but sitting behind Keenum is pretty embarrassing and not a great start to one's career.

Why put him out there with a suspect line against teams that can rush the passer and create havoc? I would be shocked if he isn't starting shortly after the bye. He looked like the best QB in pre-season for them to me despite the rookie mistakes he was making

I know HardKnocks edits stuff to look better. But he was making some ridiculous throws in their pre-season practices. He has been watching from the sideline all season dying to get in the game. How he responds after a mistake or things not going well will show if he's NFL ready. He will be battle tested early with this team. As a fan of the game, watching guys like him & Treadwell getting training wheels sucks. About damn time!!

Unable to watch, but it appears that he had a solid game, his INT was throwing into a tight window but 100+ passer rating and 3 TDs...defense was just unable to stop New Orleans.
