What’s everyone’s thoughts on him? My seasons all but over already so I’m looking for young talent to stash and he’s on waivers. I don’t necessarily trust Goff or Daniel Jones yet as my future qb

I also have him rostered. Broncos spent a 2nd rounder, so I'm sure he will get a look at some point. Makes sense to see if he's the answer at some point this year as they will be looking at a top 10 pick in next year's draft with several college QBs projected to become 1st round picks

The Broncos will be taking a QB high in the upcoming draft, they need to get off of this retread veteran free agent QB carousel. Peyton Manning was an anomaly and it was unique circumstances that he was available, good QBs don't hit the open market the only way to get them is to draft them. Lock has not impressed them at all since he got there for whatever reason and Elway/Vic won't have time to wait on him. If they can get one of Burrow/Tua/Herbert they will do it for sure.

He's worth an add but im not sure there's anything more than a qb 2 in the mold of rivers/romo/stafford if things go well. There may be better ww options in your format if owners load up on idp.

I think Lock will have a real chance to start for the Broncos week 1 of next season. They invested a second round pick on him, so he'll get a fair shot. That doesn't mean they won't add or draft another QB option though.

I'd rather use the roster spot on someone else in a 1QB league. Goff and Jones should be better options for now.

Looks like hes medically cleared. Elway has said hes no where near ready though....

Drew Lock has been one of those QBs that's been written off by a lot of people because of his accuracy and decision making issues; but there are a couple of positive markers for him that give me hope he could actually reach his tantalizing ceiling:
1) He broke out as a true freshman in the SEC (the toughest defensive conference in NCAAF)
2) He did it without quality NFL level WR talent; the most notable names being J'mon Moore who was drafted in the 4th round and hasn't been able to touch the field for GB, and Emmanual Hall who can't seem to make a roster.
3) Arm Talent - has Mahomes level arm strength with great touch on his deep passes. His accuracy is inconsistent at times, but that's mostly due to poor footwork which multiple QBs have been able to fix at the NFL level (although improvement in this area is by no means assured as many QBs never significantly improve in this area)
4) He got better as a passer every single season he was in college. This is a point that was raised numerous times with Lamar Jackson last year, and while the young Michael Vick has a long ways yet to go as a passer he did improve yet again in his 2nd year in the NFL.
Lock is not very exciting this year unless you're desperate for a QB in Superflex leagues; however he does have the athleticism and arm talent to make plays happen while he's learning on the fly in DEN if they choose to see what they have in him during a lost season, and he's a much better lotto pick than many people give him credit for.
