Ya somewhere between dynasty RB #5-40... Where is the JAG line at these days?
Peyton barber is JAG. Modern-day Carlos Hyde is JAG. Modern-day Frank Gore is JAG. NFL-Version Sony Michel is JAG.

Gordon is on an entirely different plane than those guys. He is a lesser talent than Zeke, Saquon, and Kamara - but he is an excellent back, both as a runner and receiver. Let's revisit this take in a year.
Well said. We need a name for the tier sandwiched between the studs and the replacement level talents. Stalwart? Starter level?
Good?

Ekeler is the truth eh? Putting up RB1 numbers still seven with Gordon in the line up, and almost all of it is from receiving, even with all other receiving options healthy for the Chargers

Trubisky looks like a bust. The two TD's came with a minute or so left, one after recovering an onside kick that should not have been recovered. He's terrible. Montgomery looks like a FF bust, too. That entire offense, apart from A Rob looks like an avoid.

I don't think the issues are Montgomery. He looks fine. But hard to be relevant when you have four touches in the whole game. The issue is the o-line and Trubisky.

Rivers has turned into Eli, can't throw a ball deep and just dumps off every pass attempt.

Lol so I guess you missed the 41 yard bomb that Rivers/Ekeler connected on.

Week 7 Observations

- Death, taxes and Will Fuller getting hurt again. Honest to God a shame but at this point, you shouldn't expect anything less.

- Love how Wentz is getting a free pass for playing like dong while guys like Goff get hammered

- Danny Dimes is coming WAY back down to earth

- Bears having Trubisky throw 100x a game is just a dumb recipe...they should honestly treat him like Lamar...design runs 10-15x a game and have him throw 15-20x...clearly he isn't Lamar but he's athletic enough to hurt you on the ground. All in all, the leash around his neck is getting tighter and tighter.

- Melvin Gordon has done jack squat to prove his holdout point, I'm honestly glad he blew that game. Serves the Chargers right for riding Ekeler all the way down that drive and snubbing him.

- It's funny how SF is undefeated but could you make the argument that they could/should bench JG?

- Andy Dalton needs to go, funny we've seen Mixon go from AFC's leading rusher to non-existent RB in such a short period.

The reason why it's buy time for Boyd and Mixon.

This year's James White

"Everyone else"
So we should just lazily lump in the Melvin Gordons, Nick Chubbs, and Joe Mixons - in with the Peyton Barbers and Kenyan Drakes and CJ Andersons of the world?

Hopefully Mixon is taking handoffs from a top-3 draft pick next year.

Jacoby Brissett has been incredible. He isn't getting enough credit for helping the Colts reach their current spot.

The mental fortitude to take over for Luck has shown itself quite impressively.

Matt nagy and the Bears offense completely lacks rhythm. Trubisky cannot consistently lead a vertical passing game. As such, the bears move almost exclusively horizontally. Tarik has zero space and can do nothing as the teams can so easily gameplan for the horizontal passing game. The run attack has no oomph...and nagy gives up on it almost immediately every week. The offense goes entirely through arob and he has almost no space to make stuff happen. Arob has been very impressive.

For those that didn't watch, you can throw out about 15 completions ,2tds, and 150 yards from the bears last week...the saints defense was entirely on prevent trying to burn clock up

I disagree. If you want Mixon to be relevant again they need to draft OL basically round 1-7. Dalton isn't the reason Mixon isn't getting any running room. That OL is bottom 5 in the NFL imo.
