Thought the same thing. The replay looked like he just gave up at the end because he didn't want to get his jersey dirty.
Ya somewhere between dynasty RB #5-40... Where is the JAG line at these days?bjd5211 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2019 4:33 pmAs a Chargers fan, I'm looking forward to his departure. He is certainly more than "JAG", but he's not in the conversation with the elite guys either.Phaded wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2019 4:27 pmI don't like the Chargers but this is a stupid statement.StripesOfKC wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2019 4:25 pm Melvin Gordon is and always was JAG propped up by volume.
Had no business being paid like Zeke or pre-knee Gurley

hilarious. not on the 3rd year "MVP" starting QB at all. tough role when he doesn't get to play the 2nd and 2 play action role every time he has to pass. tough role when he isn't up 10-0 early every game. tough role to play the team on a 3 game losing streak with rumors of firing their coach. anyone have a goose feather pillow for Carson to lay on?FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2019 8:45 pm Both Jones and Murray were extremely disappointing today. Especially with their lack of football awareness in key moments of the game.
The entire Eagles team did not show up. That's on the coaching staff and the veterans IMO. Wentz got caught in the hero role, trying to do too much at times. It was not a good game for him either. They need a strong rebound, but their offense really has issues, as they have no talent at WR right now. Agholor is useless, Jeffery is washed up, and it's basically Ertz and Goedert that are the only ones Wentz can find open. D Jax was a guy that made this offense go, because of the pressure he put on the safeties. Without that legit deep threat, they simply can't get it going.
I said he had a bad game. The coaching staff and the vets on that D were completely outmatched. Garrett was supposedly on the chop block and Pederson won a SB, and he got out coached in every aspect. Wentz is the least of their problems right now.Krypto_King wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2019 10:30 pmhilarious. not on the 3rd year "MVP" starting QB at all. tough role when he doesn't get to play the 2nd and 2 play action role every time he has to pass. tough role when he isn't up 10-0 early every game. tough role to play the team on a 3 game losing streak with rumors of firing their coach. anyone have a goose feather pillow for Carson to lay on?FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2019 8:45 pm Both Jones and Murray were extremely disappointing today. He's nothing special, but he's at LEAST as good as Funchess would have been, IMO.Dynasty DeLorean wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2019 12:39 pm I’ve been eyeing Zach pascal for a while and have him stashed in all my leagues. Really hope he turns I to something
Peyton barber is JAG. Modern-day Carlos Hyde is JAG. Modern-day Frank Gore is JAG. NFL-Version Sony Michel is JAG.
Well said. We need a name for the tier sandwiched between the studs and the replacement level talents. Stalwart? Starter level?lukkynumber13 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2019 11:52 pmPeyton barber is JAG. Modern-day Carlos Hyde is JAG. Modern-day Frank Gore is JAG. NFL-Version Sony Michel is JAG.
Gordon is on an entirely different plane than those guys. He is a lesser talent than Zeke, Saquon, and Kamara - but he is an excellent back, both as a runner and receiver. Let's revisit this take in a year.

Don't know the contract but possibly saving him to trade?BlackOmega wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2019 6:11 pm I wish I'd been more of a pessimist about David Johnson, I had plenty of suitable replacements where I started him and had Edmonds on the bench in multiple leagues where I could have used him had I know his usage would be higher than second fidddle! A curse on all these "tricky" coaches!
