I can’t comprehend the level of stupidity of a guy who screws up his last chance when he’s never received even a single modest NFL contract. Wow ... just wow.

Some people are just meant to flip burgers for a living.

Although wasn't this related to his offseason arrests that we already knew about?

I always wondered why the NFL didn't suspend him for the offseason incident. It was obviously bad enough where the Bengals of all teams cut him, but for some reason, the NFL decided to wait this long? Seems kind of like a bad deal for Walton.

Looks like this is a result of his offseason arrests instead of a new bout of stupidity. So theoretically, it was baked in the cake and shouldn’t impact his future with the Dolphins.

I was only valuing him as a ROS depth play, so he’s fairly useless at this point.

I hope so too! But honestly, I get a really good feeling about Patrick Laird. I liked him as a dark horse going into the draft but he goes to MIA along with Gaskin (who I drafted & dropped) He's been playing special teams while Gaskin is a healthy scratch. Because of that will he get snaps over Gaskin? I can't decide who to go after. Not that any of this matters much since we're talking about the dolphins backfield lol.

Agree completely. So weird that the suspension stems from events of last spring, but somehow Walton managed to latch on with another team and play through Week 9 before the NFL decided to do anything about his off-filed conduct?

Unless they were conducting an investigation or something, though I hadn't heard anything about that either. Timing just seems off. Not talking conspiracy or anything like that, but you'd have thought punishment would have come sooner than this.

I wonder if Miami will welcome him back? The organization certainly knew what they were getting with Walton, so the suspension ultimately shouldn't have come as a surprise. But in reality, I don't think we're looking at a player who's all that valuable anyway at the end of the day.

The cynic in me says that the NFL didn’t care because he was too low profile, but once he took over the lead role, then they needed to act.

It IS the NFL after all...
