I don't really know what else he can do or what anyone can say at this point if you still don't believe in him. Better off trading him and capitalize on the value most other people put on him if you still have doubts.Pullo Vision wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 11:49 amI bought him in a few leagues last offseason because the value seemed great, given the upside. Lot's of smoke about the Packers trying to acquire Waller.

You'd think they would have thought of that whilst negotiating the Davante trade. If it didn't happen then, why would it happen now?FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Mon Apr 25, 2022 4:04 pm Lot's of smoke about the Packers trying to acquire Waller.
The leverage of their immediate need is well against them. Teams will do their best to ransom them, nobody is going to "help" the Packers.

Because there is a rule that you can't trade a player you've applied the tag to, for a non tagged player, I believe.mild wrote: ↑Mon Apr 25, 2022 4:34 pmYou'd think they would have thought of that whilst negotiating the Davante trade. Re: Darren Waller...is he the real deal?
I could be wrong, but I think it has to do with the fact Adams hadn't signed the tag. The rule is different for a tagged player who has signed it, to clarify I believe.Shcritters wrote: ↑Mon Apr 25, 2022 5:33 pmWell, chalk that up in the ‘new thing I learned today’ bucket. Re: Darren Waller...is he the real deal?
And looking at the situation… why would you trade away a top 6-7 TE who is on a contract of $6.25M for the next two years? That’s a pretty team friendly situation right there.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Mon Apr 25, 2022 6:09 pm Also. There's this.

What are we thinking of the trade value for Waller these days? He's getting older and will presumably lose a bunch of targets Adams. KTC puts him at ~ a late 2023 1st but that feels bad given how valuable he should be for a contender

Re: Darren Waller...is he the real deal?
Perceived worth may be a late 1st, but with a potential unknown decline of targets, declining health, and a monstrous '23 draft class coming up I don't see anyone putting up more than a early/mid 2nd for him. Visa versa I don't see many people accepting it either.olmansmith wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 10:04 am What are we thinking of the trade value for Waller these days? X2 if we say hes worth a mid first which call it 6 for easy sake, would you rather have waller or one of Gibbs/Evans/boutte.YouMightDieTryin wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 10:17 amPerceived worth may be a late 1st, but with a potential unknown decline of targets, declining health, and a monstrous '23 draft class coming up I don't see anyone putting up more than a early/mid 2nd for him.
