All semi-worthless in fantasy if the Packers keep 3 WRs.

But yes, fantastic game from Adams!

Oh for sure. Cobb, Nelson and Adams are all Wr3/4s in 2015 if Cobb stays in Green Bay.

Why pay big money when they have a young stud in the wings like Adams? Full disclosure, I'm an Adams owner but I got traded for him after the fantasy season ended since I have a feeling Cobb hits free agency.

"If" the Packers let Cobb go; Adams is certainly making a case to make the transition a little easier.

Because Adams is an outside receiver and Cobb is one of the best slot receivers in the NFL. Having Nelson, Cobb and Adams on the field is great and Green Bay played a lot of 3WR sets today. If GB loses Cobb, Adams wouldn't be able to fill 2 roles.

Offense has played well in the past without Cobb. Shoot they were even good with guys like James Jones and Boykin out there. I'm sure they'd like to keep Cobb but it will be hard for GB to match what other teams are willing to pay. If Cobb doesn't take a home team discount that offense will be just fine with Jordy, Adams, Janis, Abbrederris or whoever.

Plus Adams is only a rookie give the kid a chance. He has shown flashes like today. He certainly has a chance to fill the number two role in a year or two. I wouldn't write him off.

Anyone who doesn't own Davante Adams should be trading for him now. Odds are Cobb doesn't re-sign, which would mean an instant boom in Davante's value. And if Cobb does re-sign, you've still got a talented rookie WR on a top passing team, his value isn't likely to take much of a hit. There's very little risk to this investment.

Except that everyone is thinking this way. Just as they were when they drafted Adams.

Green Bay typically keeps their receivers after their rookie contracts end. I'm a big fan of Adams but Green Bay doesn't have another receiver who can fill Cobbs role if he leaves.

But they're not. Look at the rankings on this site, he's 29th behind Allen Robinson, Victor Cruz, and Percy Harvin. Look at the January mocks, he's being taken after Michael Floyd, Brandin Cooks, Jordan Matthews. Cobb is ranked 10th, if he doesn't sign in Green Bay again their rankings should be switched instantly. Adams as WR2 in Green Bay should be a top-20 WR even in redrafts. This is still a time to buy.

Yeah well rankings don't coincide 100% with the way owners rank their players. You learn that guys who actually own him in the real world are not selling him cheap after him flashing some talent and with the chance that Cobb doesn't resign. If they liked Adams enough to draft him, the aren't cashing out now unless it's for a fair amount above market value.
