See my post from yesterday. I am the conductor of the Taysom Hill is the second coming of Jesus train.
Please hop aboard we have plenty of space at the moment while the non-believers still worship their false god (Teddy basic ball Bridgewater) but the time is coming for Hill to rise up.

I think the least I will settle for is co-conductor. non-negotiable is the pulling of the train horn obnoxiously and repeatedly if we are correct and he hits.Cherokee wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2019 6:44 pmCheck out Scouting and College Prep Board. Re: Calling my shot: Taysom Hill takeover
I vote they go get Mohamed Sanu to take over as QB, he's a way better QB than Taysom
Re: Calling my shot: Taysom Hill takeover
From a fantasy perspective, Teddy is an emergency start only, even in 2QB/SF leagues. Not only is his ceiling low, his floor is lower than most full game starters given that Taysom likely will get more than normal snaps to add variance and unpredictability to the offense.
I hope to see Taysom Hill get some snaps and see what he can do outside of just gadget plays. I don't expect it will be in a lead role, at least until two games with Teddy go by, but am curious in the results if it does. Truth be told, he could come off as a poor mans Lamar Jackson. He's athletic enough, can handle the punishment, and seems as competent a passer. Curious how much opportunity he will get during this stretch of games and how much Lamar Jackson tape the coaches will try to integrate.

I've been saying poor man's Josh Allen. Hill's rushing potential alone would give him weekly top-10ish QB production with top-5 being a possibility.

Re: Calling my shot: Taysom Hill takeover
Hm, idk.
Taysom as a receiver: 6 catches on 12 targets (50% catch rate) for 29 yards, 4.8 yards per reception, and 1 td
Sanu in 2018: 66 catches on 94 targets (70.2% catch rate) for 838 yards, 12.7 yards per reception, and 4 td
Sanu's career as a receiver: 363/533 (66.2% catch rate) for 4060 yards, 11.5 yards per reception, and 24 tds
Hm, idk.notweswelker wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2019 4:21 pmYeah but with Sanu you don't get the athleticism. Taysom Hill is way faster than 4.67 40 Yard Dash Sanu.
Taysom as a rusher: 39 rushes for 204 yards (5.2 ypc) and 2 TD
Sanu as a rusher: 38 rushes for 212 yards (5.6 ypc) and 2 TD
For those of you that are curious
Taysom as a passer: 3/8 passes for a 37.5% completion rate, 0 TDs and 1 INT
Sanu as a passer: 7/8 passes for a 87.5% completion rate, 4 TDs and 0 INT
Edit: this is all good fun, just some small sample size jokes.
Re: Calling my shot: Taysom Hill takeover
All fun and games I know but Hill knows the system and the offense knows the plays where Hill is in at QB. Shouldnt be gimmicky trick plays(Sanu) it should be a system that has already been installedMonkey wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2019 4:49 pmHm, idk.

Re: Calling my shot: Taysom Hill takeover
They will give Teddy every opportunity to succeed. Both players would like to be Brees’s successor. Teddy has the big contract, and as long as he is playing they still have a back-up. Taysom is more athletic and has been very good every time he has played. Taysom looks to be the better QB, but if Teddy is passed over, Teddy’s value is diminished. I think the Saint’s like what they see in Hill, but were not ready to put all their eggs in 1 basket. They have to give Teddy first shot.

Re: Calling my shot: Taysom Hill takeover
There aren't 5 backups that are better than Bridgewater. Not saying he is a great QB, but to say he is a low quality backup is farcical.
The bar for backups is extremely low...
Heck, TheRinger.com has Teddy as their #2 backup in a recent article. And I generally agree with that take...

Re: Calling my shot: Taysom Hill takeover
I think Teddy's reputation far exceeds his reality. I'd also argue there are currently more than 5 backups I would rather have Quarterbacking my team in case of emergency: Ryan Tannehill, Nick Mullens, Tyrod Taylor, Josh Mccown, Blake Bortles, Fitzpatrick/Rosen depending on who is starting, and Dwayne Haskins (kinda cheating but I'd take Case Keenum once he is switched to back-up).Cherokee wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2019 5:16 amHill may not even take a snap. If Bridgewater doesn't get it done this week, I think Hill will start week 4.
